Works very well
Performs very well. Well built, a little on the pricey side. If any pinfish are escaping I haven’t noticed as its been pretty full. Probably won’t catch the big pinfish due to the size of the opening but it does well for the smaller live bait sized pins. If the openings were bigger you’d catch bigger pinfish but lose a lot of the smaller ones which are ideal for speckled trout and slot reds. I just fill it with the scraps from the fish I fillet. That seems to be the best bait at least where I’m at. Plus it’s free.

Wire holes are too big
I have had the trap in the water for about 3 weeks now and have yet to catch a one fish-but right near this trap, my old trap with smaller spacing has caught numerous fish. I believe the wire spaces are too large or the entry path is not easy for the fish to find.

It works
It actually works and it is also true it will cut the heck out of you. So be careful. Here is a pic of the performance of it compared to one I bought at my local bait shop. Used the same amount of bait in both at the same time. Yep. The bait shop was another good egg.

No decent sized fish can get in. Only very small minnow.
Way smaller than the video advertised. The 2 small entries are so small that most of the fish trying to get in couldn't. And I need the bigger ones to make it worth my while, to go after the bigger predators.Unless you wanna take the time to reshape and remake this thing, this is not a good buy at all.And even worse, there's no place to hold the chum/bait. So most floats on the top of the cage, where the fish can get to it from the outside of it.If I wanted the small bait, I'd have just bought a regular minnow trap.Don't know how the fish are in Fla, but in Oh we need bigger minnows to catch bigger fish.

all most a 5 star .
the trap could be just a little better for the money . first they did not use jay clamps to put it together they used snap rings . the door used to get to the inside. is way to small .they could have filed down they sharp edges around the door .i do have big hands 3x but i can fix the door by getting some wire mesh and cutting it bigger. i did paint it to blend in to the Tampa bay. on the good side it caught many pin fish . i gave some to the people around me . i all so caught about 80 baby mango snapper. i put them back for next year to have more fish . the trap works. a lot of the people asked me wear i bought it . i told the the name and on amazon.
