Having used a standing desk at work, I was keen to get one for home use after I retired. The first one we ordered was a disaster, took two of us to make it descend and nearly took our heads off when ascending. Then we ordered a Yo-Yo and it was entirely different. Sturdy but not mega heavy like the first one. Went together easily and adjusts precisely to where I want it with just a squeeze of the handle. Sitting to work on the computer makes me really stiff and sore, with the Yo-Yo I get none of that. Although twice the cost of the first one we tried, the Yo-Yo is excellent value for such a good product. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Yo-Yo Standing Desk to anyone keen to try one. You'll never go back to sitting all day!

Sitting at a computer can cause real back issues so this desk is the ideal solution. It's quite heavy but extremely well designed and constructed and offers the choice of high or low working. When it's in the raised position I also stand on a special mat which I can "march" on to help increase blood flow and relieve tired legs.It certainly works well for me and I thoroughly recommend it.

Been told by my physio either stand up whilst working at my computer or be seeing him more regularly with even worse back and neck problems.Must say since having this Yo-You desk I have not dropped it back down. I have found my back and neck issues improved and more importantly I am far more focused and productive.Easy to setup and use just be careful as instructed where you position you keyboard, mouse and screen cables.Only one very minor thing is when typing there is a little bit of screen shake and so have moved my webcam off my screen on to a separate arm so I don't get screen wobble when on live meeting calls.Just a suggestion for Yo-Yo desk designers - it would be great to either incorporate a permanently attached to the base an extendable arm at the back base of desk which could hold a webcam or as an attachable accessory the same. Please Note YOYO have first dibs on this idea for you and if you would like to value this idea in some way feel feel.Mike H

This was well worth the money. Easy to assemble. Easy to adjust several times a day between sitting and standing. Great for posture. Had a cheaper model initially from elsewhere and gave up on it. This is great. Have the slimmer version. I can work comfortably in my laptop, with notes, coffee etc. Only drawback is it’s quite heavy to move around but it’s worth it for the sturdiness. Highly recommend.

I already used the bigger version of this desk at work and love it, so following the work at home pandemic, it was an obvious choice to get one for home use too.This one is slightly smaller from front to back which is ideal for use at home. It only has one handle but with more control that the one I use at work.It is only very slightly less sturdy that the bigger version but perfectly adequate for my (closed) laptop and my 32 inch monitor on top and large keyboard and mouse on the bottom tray.The keyboard and mouse tray hinges are a tad narrow, which is a shame, as this was an unnecessary compromise in design but it is an annoyance rather than a reason not to buy.I recommend this item for its excellent build quality but if you have a large room then the bigger version is a better desk. For smaller rooms it is ideal, even with a large monitor.The slim aspect will only be a problem for monitors with a very deep base (more than 30 cm from front to back).

This is absolutely brilliant. It's smart-looking, sturdy, very easy to use and relatively compact. Adjusting the height is smooth and easy. I've been wanting to get a sit-stand computer stand for a long time, but they were all too large for my small desk and small space. Suddenly I spotted the Yo-Yo Desk 80-S SLIM, and it just fits. I'm totally delighted. I was concerned that there might not be enough room to move the mouse around, but there is plenty of room, even with an extended keyboard. The height adjustments are fine for me (I'm 1.67m tall). It was also very easy to assemble. Very highly recommended.

I suffer from chronic neck pain, spend a lot of time at my desk and needed something that would give me increased movement.This has really helped, particularly with the neck pain. I can alternatively stand or sit which helps to loosen up my back and give my legs a bit of a stretch.It’s quick to assemble and set up and is sturdy in the desk.An addition I’d love to see is a panel that tilts up so I can use it to hand write with better posture.

Fantastic product. Really easy to assemble (it comes with everything already built other than the keyboard tray), really easy to lift up and down and has good range of motion.One word of caution. If you’re over 6ft tall and have a standard height desk (29 inches) then this will probably be too short without some sort of stand for your laptop. I would suggest measuring carefully before buying.
