the stones are all of equal size, they are more brick red than chocolate brown. I did not have a problem with colour, however it is redder than the picture. they were small 2 mm, as expected all of uniform size. I washed it before I put them in the aquarium. it did not require too many washes. overall happy with the product.

Along with being totally different colour from the picture here, the stones fizz when exposed to vinegar. This means that they contain calcium deposits in them. Calcium is a ph buffer which increased pH. The description says that the gravel will not affect pH, but that is misleading.

Don't buy, stones are very big and not the quality one. Product is different from the photo !

These are marble chips which are not suitable for any aquarium.
