There are very durable clips. Were a perfect fit for the 20-year-old clips I had on the house to hang the Christmas lights, and much cheaper by bulk than going to get them individually at the hardware store

Works good, but some of the clips broke while installing rope light. It was good there was plenty in the package.

We were having difficulty finding some clips to hold rope lights on our kitchen cabinet until we came across these. They were pretty good other than the screws that come with them are very cheap and strip very easily. Once you get the hang of putting them in they go down very good and hold a standard size rope light very securely and it's easy to get around corners and put the rope lights exactly where you want them.

These work prefect for mounting rope lights all around my deck rails. My rope lights measure just a smidgeon under 1/2 in in diameter with calipers. Fyi, I have used these clips in the past, and I just use black drywall screws instead of the (PITA) 'tiny' screws that came in pkg. Just drive them in at a somewhat slower speed. No need to drill out hole! My previous set (different brand but look exactly the same) lasted approx. 8-9 years in the torturous Colorado sun. Some did break when I took them down to restain my deck recently. Hense, this repurchase.
