I was hesitant to buy something like this for my son because I thought it would get annoying, but the designers of this music set had parents in mind. The cymbals still aren't my favorite sound, but better than most! The sound for most instruments is "muted" just enough that they won't hurt your ears, but there's still plenty of sound for the child to enjoy. I'll say the xylophone doesn't seem to be "on key" but it's still good. My 2.5 year old loves it. Great price for all that you get.

My daughter likes these. She doesn’t play with them for very long as they aren’t the best noise makers. This set is good for babies who like to go through toy sets with many pieces. The rattles, tambourine, and xylophone are the best pieces. My daughter loves the sound of the xylophone even though she doesn’t know how to use it yet. Would have increased this by a star if it had its own container. Infants love taking things out at this stage. B Story and Infantino make better ones tbh

Use with my clients and at this point not a disappointment seen. Children love to play with all the instruments. Noticed the flute does not make any noise, just air.

Got these for my son and he started having a blast as soon at I got them out of the box. So perfect for babies first instruments. Very good quality and you get a lot for your money. Highly recommend!

This was a great gift to give my nephew to explore different musical instruments and there were no little parts to worry about a choking hazard. He absolutely loved playing with all the different instruments.

I purchased this item to give my child a new stimuli to play around with. And to totally see for sure if he was a lefty or a righty. My son is 19 months and enjoyed erasing the images more than actually doodling. Still worth the purchase though.

Just as expected. My 2 year old neice lived it and her parents equally disliked the noise- so it was a winner from Aunt & Uncle!!
