So my stock steering wheel was staring to show some wear and tear so picked this up as a recommended product. The softness is pretty solid with good leather quality. The color especially the carbon fiber is very nice. It fit snuggly and was a good value for the money for the functional effect it gave in making my steering wheel feel new again. Oh and I live in the desert and this gets a lot less hot than the stock steering wheel so that is a bonus.

Nice steering wheel cover. The carbon fiber on black looks good in my SUV. Be sure and install the seam on the back side of the wheel. Smooth side facing you. The only thing I didn't like is they mailed it folded in 4 and it left creases in it. Why would they do that? So now there's still a crease right at the top of the wheel in the carbon fiber that is visible. I put it in the sun to help heat it up before installing and try to help get the creases out. It took still some strength for me to put it on. I just did it a little at a time and then let it stretch and continued until I got it. The nylon is a little rough on my girly hands but I'll get used to it. It has a good grip, it doesn't slide around, fits like a glove! I tied a wide ribbon around the crease and the sun and heat pressed it out. Is not noticeable now. The other parts fit so tight it pressed them out as well.

I recently purchased a used Toyota RAV 4 that was in great condition. I drove it a couple times before I realized that the steering wheel was especially smooth, like smooth from years of use by the previous owner. I thought about it and then moved on to something more pressing.Later that night, I don’t know what prompted me to look up “steering wheel cover” on Amazon because I have had maybe six cars in my life and I have never once thought about “enhancing” the steering wheel with a cover.But I’m glad that I did that search for a steering wheel cover because I ended up buying this one here based on a few factors: the aesthetics of the wheel cover especially in the new black color, the product description that read like I was missing out on a better driving experience if I did not have this product, and rave reviews that reaffirmed that this steering wheel cover was awesome. I vacillated on this issue just because I had never upgraded my steering wheel cover, and I was wondering if it was really going to be that noticeable (it is!), so I bought it.A day later the product arrived on my doorstep and I wasted no time opening the box. I will say that when I first saw and felt the steering cover, I was impressed with how it felt and I liked how it looked. I went straight out to my vehicle and very easily pulled the cover over my steering wheel. I will say that some people may have a little challenge with pulling the cover around the wheel, but I think most people shouldn’t have too much problem.After the cover was on the steering wheel I grabbed on to it for a good squeeze. It felt good. But honestly my second thought was “wow, this cover has made my steering wheel much thicker and am I going to like it thicker?” I thought I would like it, but there is a female in my life that will be driving this SUV, and I thought that she might not like it because she has smaller hands than me. I’m 6’2” and have average sized hands for someone that height (I guess?). I think women need to know going in on this purchase that the wheel cover is going to increase the overall size of their steering wheel by a noticeable percentage (but fewer than 50% overall). Enough said on this topic.Now that I have driven my SUV around a number of times, I could not be happier with my fancy new steering wheel cover. I love the feel of the material. At the very top center of the cover it is smooth, but as you move down the steering wheel you feel this interlaced fabric that is so nice and comfortable. My hands on at either at the recommended safety driving of the 10-2 position or at the casual 11-1 position on the steering wheel. With either of these positions, my hands are on the interlaced fabric and I really like it the feel.My advice is give this steering wheel cover a try. You have a ton of colors from which to choose (new black color is great!) and you have a well designed cover that feels nice under your hands. I don’t even drive a lot and I love the upgrade, but if you drive a lot then you need to try this steering cover out. Do yourself a favor and see what you are missing.I know when summer comings, when I’m easy to sweating a lot, this cover is going to absorb my perspiration and keep my hands pretty dry if the product description is right, and so far I have not found anything amiss about it.Pick your color, consider that price is darn reasonable for a noticeable upgrade to your vehicle, remember you have not committed to anything long term yet, and, put a little faith in my experience and honest upfront review of this steering wheel cover, and prepare to experience your car a little differently...in a good way. It upgrades the steering wheel. My 2024 Subaru Crosstrek needed a better gripping steering wheel.

I was a little concerned before I get the product. Because it is cheap and I was not sure. However, after I got the product, I was shocked! I saw some reviews that they said it is hard to fit it. But it was easy for me - firstly top part, then side and finally bottom, that’s it!I got black color. The texture of cover is so good. It smells chemical but I hope it is temporary because I just got it. I didn’t try to clean it yet, but after I try I will update my review.In hot weathers, probably it will be better to use it because it has breathable silk.The most important part, it functions good because it grips the steering wheel very well. So it doesn’t slide at all.

Takes the stress out of your hands when driving.

Amazing that such a simple and inexpensive product made a big difference with the comfort and grip of my steering wheel. Installation was easy, as in just a few minutes. The fit is snug (Subaru Impreza) so it does require a bit of muscle, but that is a good thing.The steering wheel is now much more comfortable, both cooler in the sun and far easier to grip. In that regard it actually makes the car somewhat safer to drive as the factory steering wheel is a touch slick in my opinion. The cover has additional padding on the most commonly used areas ( 9 and 3 o'clock, 10 and 2 o'clock etc.). The cover also modestly improves the appearance of the steering wheel. Highly recommended if you have a stock steering wheel.
