I finally got a chance to put this little unit through its paces...and I like it. It's got an easy-to-read, back lit display, the magnets are powerful enough to stick the unit to my blade and it is accurate. I've actually measured several surfaces with three separate levels, then checked them against the TickTock tools angle finder, and they all matched. (If you zero it out, pick it up and then place it back on the same spot, you get the same reading, which also makes the measurements repeatable.)The most impressive thing about TickTock Tools is their customer service. My unit arrived broken (it appears the carrier was a little rough on my package.) So I reached out for support. Bill replied within minutes and immediately shipped a new unit; I had it in my hands the very next day. That's right, the very next day! Good quality products with excellent customer service, what else could you ask for? Thanks TickTock Tools. I look forward to doing business again.

You will eventually be sorry if you buy one of the lower quality units that all look the same on Amazon! Some might sell for a few dollars less but the quality is much lower. The unit from TickTockTools is definitely built better without question. It has an aluminum alloy frame and the plastic parts are much stronger. With the other units, it feels like you can stick your finger right into the display! This one is heavier and you can tell right away that it is built stronger.As far as accuracy, this unit is as good or better than any other unit I've seen. The numbers don't jump around. It adjusts from one surface to the next very quickly. The magnets are very strong and will not slide or let go of metal surfaces. Your results are highly reproducible. It has so many uses and the hold button is a pretty cool additional feature. Overall very easy to use this tool.Bottom line is that you won't be disappointed if you get this one. There are other good products out there but there are also a lot of not so good products out there. This is a great value at under 30 bucks!

Easy to read and pretty simple to use once you play around with it for a few minutes. The instructions could be clearer but once you got it figured out you will be all set.Could use a small delay between when you press the zero button to when the unit zero's itself to account for movement in your hands. Maybe just a quick countdown would be good.Unit has a strong magnet and is accurate enough to help me align the blade on an old table saw to 90°.Pretty happy with the purchase so far.

This is my first angle finder so I have nothing to compare it to.It came in plastic packaging which includes the angle finder, a soft carry/storage case, one AAA battery, and an instruction booklet.The instructions are clear and concise and the display is easy to read.The bottom is magnetized. This does not make it less readable when I attach it to my saw blade to check for squareness. The display is large and clear enough to be read easily sideways.I find it to be very sensitive to movement and I have learned to deal with that.I cannot speak as yet on whether or not it is a battery eater, since I have a habit of removing batteries from any item that I am putting away after use. This is due to having several TV remote controls damaged from battery leakage. I live in the tropics and this is pretty common.So far, I have no complaints or regrets.

Why did I wait so long to purchase this item. Works well on table saw blades and router table fence. Well worth the money.

This unit is so easy to use and accurate that it takes a lot of guesswork out of woodworking as well as other projects. The response time is really fast and I read with some other similar products that this can be a problem. This is definitely not a problem with this product. I push a button and in a second or two it is doing what it is supposed to do. No lag. For the most part it is self-explanatory but it does come with detailed instructions that make it even easier if you need those. I wouldn’t even keep scrolling. If you’re in the market for a product that will make your woodworking or around the house jobs like hanging pictures easier, just buy this one. The price is as good or better versus comparable products and the performance is second to none. I haven’t had to use their customer service because I haven’t had any issues but it was clear when I made my purchase that if I do need anything, they will have me covered.

My miters have gotten tighter, my angles are definitely more precise. As my eyes have gotten older and worse, it's difficult to see the tick marks on my old angle finder and tape measure.It's a good size display. Easy to use with the bright backlight. With the magnetic base, I can just let it stick to the side of my steel table saw stand. It's always right there when I need it. It comes with a case, but I don't use it.Place it on the tablesaw top, zero the angle finder, then snap it to the side of the blade and adjust to the desired angle. SIMPLE and EASY.It's such a good product and I'm glad to support a smaller company like Tick Tock Tools.

It is much more accurate than the crank on my table saw. However, it isn't the easiest to use. I will place it on a blade that is 90 degrees three times and it will give three different readings. Yes, they are all less than a half a degree, but it can be a bit frustrating that it is not identical each time. I know this has a ton of 5 star reviews, but honestly, it can be a bit frustrating at times. I suppose I expected better after all the wonderful reviews.
