Repair Kit for Brinkmann 5 Burner 810-1750-s, 810-1751-s

The installation was easy. Ironically, there were no instructions on the assembly. I had to figure it out by watching a YouTube video. There are too many parts in the kit. Some were not needed for my grill. The most difficult part was to remove the old rusted parts from my grill. We used a dremel to remove the rusty screws that would not come off. Now, the grill is as good as new.

Almost perfect fit, A little bit of adjustment and fitting but overall good quality

I couldn't find parts for my specific Brinkman model grill. So I took some measurements and rolled the dice on this kit. I was a little leery since I hadn't heard of this manufacturer before. I couldn't be more pleased. These components really brought my grill back to life. I can't speak to the longevity of these parts, but the first few uses after install were fantastic. Install was simple enough once i got the old crusted screws removed. Just like a new grill but not nearly as expensive. Bring on the heat!

We like the value for our money, but the did not fit even though this was supposed to for our model of grill. My husband had to cut down the pieces and do some bending to make it work.

Been using the kit for a few months and seems good. Parts seem of reasonable quality. They fit together well. I may have had to drill a couple holes, but nothing crazy had to be modified. Unfortunately, for my grill, this did not replace everything. There were some brackets in the back (one for each tube) I had to re-use. But everything was so rusted and melded together it was a long process to get off and separate what I needed so I could re-use it. Ultimately, the uninstall took vastly longer than the install. But that is no fault of the parts. But I wish there were replacement brackets as well so that this was 100% replaced.

Perfect fit

The delivery was almost immediate. I ordered on Friday night and delivery was Monday. Awesome. I did have to modify the crossover bars as described by another customer review. I used a dremmel to cut off approximately 1/8 off each end of the crossover. The entire customizing and install took about 2 hours, but that also included having to dremmel cut off the old bolts that held the burners on, and I cleaned the grill while everything was out. Only moderate skill needed for the retrofit, provided you have some basic metal cutting tools. I gave 4 stars because of the speedy delivery and works perfectly. I'd give 5 stars if the crossover actually fit without modification. I would definitely buy again without hesitation.

Received this product in two days (thank you Amazon) but.....the crossover pieces do not line up with the burner hole tabs. I have tried every configuration possible. Under the burners, on top of the burners, alternated between top and bottom...no dice :( The crossover pieces are too long. Tab to tab across the unit they are correct yet the actual piece that attaches to the tabs that acts as the crossover are about 1/2" too long. You can see in one of the pictures that the crossover unit tabs were welded on backwards. In the other picture you can see the hole misalignment. Bad quality assurance :( What's a guy gotta do? Suppose I'll drill new holes in the top burner tab. A return and replace will take too long.

Easy to install. Works great

I had to do considerable modification and use some of my old parts, but was able to make things work. For older grills that are obsolete and really hard to find parts for this worked okay so I was not surprised or disappointed that it took some tweaking to make things work.

Crossovers didn’t work for my application and had to drill holes to mount burners on my Brinkmann Elite.
