We have been having issues with our sink smelling on the garbage disposal side... I have tried many things, items specific for garbage disposal smells, but nothing has ever worked. A friend at work suggested that I try these drain sticks. I put one in each side since it’s a double sided sink. It did take a couple days, but then the smell was gone!! They are not instant odor removers, but they do work!! I went ahead and put them in our bathroom sinks and tub drain as well since they work so well. They are very easy to use and I’m so glad I don’t have to be embarrassed now when friends and family come over!!

First of all, the four packs came with many broken pieces. Not just in one pack but in all four. I reached out to the business and never heard back. My question was whether they would just go down the drain since I had to put one stick in that was in 2 or 3 broken pieces and therefore not be effective. Because of the corona virus, we cannot go out of our house (seniors w/underlying health conditions) so am stuck with these as it is not worth the risk to even go to a UPS store. Will take the loss - but very disappointed in how thin and fragile and ineffective these are.

Cons: They arrived with quite a few broken, but I tried them anyway. My drains have tops that you have to remove in order to use them, and even then they didn't go down easily like it ahows on TV. I really don't like that you are not given the choice of fragrances as there are a couple of them that I don't like the scent of. Pros: They did aeem to work. One drain was ver slow to drain and it cleared up in just a couple of days. Another started draining better within about a day.

I didn't realize that the back cardboard had perforations so I popped up the plastic and broke all of the lavender sticks but thankfully the breaks were in larger portions so I didn't have to deal with ANY dust or tiny pieces and as a pet owner I am extremely grateful because someone was pretending to be my shadow that afternoon and that someone has a tendency to lick things that shouldn't be licked... Events other than the previously mentioned passed by in half an hour and the bathroom and kitchen facilities smelled faintly of floral lavender following use of faucets with noticeable decline in unpleasant odors previously present so I am very pleased with this purchase. Regarding clog prevention, I cannot yet comment, but this post will be updated this upcoming May '23 if I have to clear a drain. Fingers crossed!

PROS: - Easy to use and fit down most types of drains even if stopper doesn't come all the way out. CONS: - Packaging is weird. Sticks break while opening and the sectioning doesn't help protect the unused sticks. - Either no smell or bad smell. I didn't smell anything at all until a few days later I smelled a really strong plant-like smell (not pleasant) which may or may not be related.... but it did get better after running additional water down the drain.

4packs arrived. I was pretty excited they arrived as I have an odor issue in the one sink. I opened the purple pack first and they all fell out in pieces which you can see in the dish in the picture. Then I looked at the other packs and they were mostly all broken too. I still put some pieces in the drain. I can only notice a slight decrease in the oder. Overall I was disappointed. I think next time I’ll look in the local store for the original Sani-sticks and see if they are I one piece. The 4 packs were a great bargain but because they were broken I don’t think they worked as well as they should have.

I ordered these for my house and the dialysis clinic that I manage. At home, they are great for putting in drains and declogging, while leaving a nice soft scent behind that is not overpowering but just enough to rid the "sinky" smell. At the clinic, I placed a few of these into our floor drains and bathroom drains before trying them on the clinic floor itself. The staff was very satisfied and happy they had these to use to help remove some odors and make their job a bit easier. Especially for the price, will definitely keep using these.

I received 4 packages, each designed to last 1 year. 4-year's worth of drain sticks for $12 - that's a good price. So far they seem to be working well. My only concerns are that many of the sticks were busted into pieces when I received them. That is a packaging issue, as they are packaged with a thin plastic front and thin cardboard backing. Also, that backing has perforated lined to make opening the packaging easier; however, the perforation marks are not placed so you can remove only one stick at a time, which seems a little ill-conceived since the package is designed to accentuate that it is a year's supply. Overall, I am satisfied with this product, though!
