A Twilight Before Christmas is book two in Feehan's Drake Sisters series. I have read this book many times and its a joy to read each time. Kate is the second oldest of the Drake sisters. She has the gift of storytelling and bringing peace to people. She can also walk in the Shadow world. Matthew is all alpha, retired Army Ranger and works construction. He has loved Kate for years and she has always had a huge crush on Matthew Granite. Their chemistry is explosive and beautiful. Danger has hit their small town. Its coming after the sisters and the town's people, its a powerful being that dislikes Christmas. It will take the seven Drake sister, old journals, Jonas, Matthew and Jackson to keep Sea Haven safe. The second novel of the Drake Sisters prophecy. It involves the second oldest sister Kate and her future husband Matt. This is the mildest storyline of the seven daughters, but it is sweetest. Kate buys an old mill that she plans on restoring into a bookstore/coffee house, however after a tremor occurs, a spirit escapes and causes trouble for the towns people. It is up to the Drake sisters and Matt to help Kate find out what the spirit wants and send it on its way. In the mean time, Kate and Matt have a wonderful romance that will make you want to be her.

This book was great. I absolutely loved Matt & Kate together. It’s sweet how they’ve both were into each other since high school and never revealed it to each other until now. You can really see the love and attraction they have for each other. Matt is such a strong stud with his military background and confident assertive personality. He’s also very sweet and definitely cares for Kate. I enjoyed watching their relationship develop.The mystery with the fog entity was interesting and it was great learning more about each sisters’ gift. I was enthralled. No angst or drama. Great action and sweet tender moments between the Matt & Kate. I recommend and can see me reading this again.

I couldn't put it down it kept me wanting to know what was going to happen next until the next thing you know you have read the whole story

The Twilight Before Christmas is Book 2 in the Sea Haven: Drake Sisters series by Christine Feehan @authorcfeehan. This is a re-read of the series for me. Kate is the 2nd oldest daughter of the sisters & a successful author. Matt is the local carpenter she hires to renovate her new house. Matt has had a crush on Kate for years & now that she is back to stay he is determined to make his move. There is a darkness that is released from a burial crypt in Kate’s house that she & her sisters need to lock down again. Kids & adults are having nightmares about it. Kate & her sisters banish the entity. Kate & Matt fall in love 🥰 Kate’s sisters approve of Matt (thank goodness!) I really enjoyed this book about Kate & Matt!

Not your typical Christmas story, but I loved it nonetheless. I enjoyed seeing more of these sisters and their special brand of magic. The love they have for each other and the men in their lives only add to the richness of the story. The author has such an amazing talent for adding just that touch of reality to her stories making them jump off the pages and play out in my mind. I love how she delved into a darker side of the holiday, and yet the spirit of these ladies and the strength of their bond brought them to a HEA that I can’t wait to read again. This book was the perfect nightmare before Christmas and I can’t wait to see which sister finds her perfect mate next.

Classic Feehan .. a little bit of mystery, a dash of suspense, some intrigue and plenty of romance all spun into an entertaining tale. The Drake Sisters with their supernatural talents take center stage once again with this second installment of a possible seven books. Something in the mist is playing havoc with the people of Sea Haven and it's up to Kate Drake and the dashing Matt Granite to save the day ... can they survive the horrors of the mist and will they find the courage to recognize love when they find it? Fans of books by Sherrilyn Kenyon and Nora Roberts may enjoy this novel.

I love all the books I've ordered for my kindle. My main form of entertainment is reading.

A good book so good you can read it twice both times without getting bored. Now I have read all Christine Feehan’s books cannot wait for the next one.

MS Feehan has an excellent mind and this shows in all the books I have read of hers. After reading many books over my long years I know when I have found an author who is going to make me laugh and cry and feel the tension thank you Ms Feehan you do that and more for me.
