Didn't work
Tested the amount of vibrations felt by my downstairs neighbor before and after this, he said "literally no difference". If you're looking for a shortcut to building a sound/vibration isolation platform, better to spend your money on the parts to build that instead.

but pretty effective for reducing vibration from Hi-Hat stand and Roland ...
It's pricey, but pretty effective for reducing vibration from Hi-Hat stand and Roland electronic drum stand.

Minimal noise reduction
Set kick up on it on top of carpet and the noise downstairs is the same.

Product Does Improve Vibration/Noise, Albeit Overpriced
I ordered 6 of these for my Roland electronic drum kit, in addition to the Roland NE-10's. I'm living in an apartment, and trying not to get any noise complaints while playing my kit.I play progressive metal and I go very hard and fast on the double-kick. I can notice an obvious difference in the amount of noise generated from playing and while these don't completely quite things down, they do help suppress the amount of noise generated from the vibration. For me I would say maybe 45-50% of the noise is absorbed in comparison to not using them, but again I hit very hard on my double-kick pedals, so I wouldn't expect them to be the end all be all.I would recommend these to other drummers looking to quiet things down a bit, but as stated in the headline, $30 is asking a bit much for a product that doesn't appear to cost more than $5 to produce. That being said, their aren't many other options for this on the market that I was able to find.

Wrong info
Totally non clear explanation and the cost is over any logic.

Works well but very expensive... you only get ONE for the price
I thought that - since cymbal stands come with three legs, as do snare stands - I was getting at least three of these things in the package... Wrong. You get one. Be aware of that.Otherwise, they work pretty well.

Malas.

Really reduces sound transfer into the ground
We use the Noise eater under my Wife's High Hat Stand for her Roland V-Drums. It really does reduce the noise transfer into the ground. However, it does make the High Hat Stand a little wobbly, however this is not noticeable during play.
