They're great suspenders. The clasps work great and don't chew up your clothes. I like the width, and the material has a heavy duty feel to it. I would recommend, however, that you should NOT wear these if you're planning on conducting any sort of criminal activity. You WILL stand out in a crowd, and you WILL get noticed. But those young whippersnappers racing around will see you when you're wearing these suspenders and they will keep you from getting plowed over!

This had quickly become my go to set of suspenders!! Easy to adjust on the fly very discreet practically disappears if worn under a shirt and very strong.

I love the plastic clips that hold so securely and don't get cold like the metal clips on my old suspenders. The wide straps are very comfortable. The camo print is pretty cool, even though my coat is hiding them most of the time. Thanks HOLDUP I'm a Happy Camper!

I like it a lot. I would recommend this for the big guys who has the beer belly like I do and it really holds your pants up. For those who don't want to wear it on the outside, the company has ones that you can wear on the inside of the shirt also which is good. Im going to get them also. so once again I am a big guy myself and I really recommend for those of my size. I has the 2 inch version and its nice and sturdy. Good adjustment slides good clips that doesn't pop off of your pants..UPDATE.!!. I have had these suspenders for over a year and they held up till recently when the metal adjustment clip broke on me and I don't know how to get it fixed..but still they still hold up my pants really good and if you're carrying something heavy in pockets these will work for you..

I grew wearing braces cause my dad is the braces & bow tie guy. Also Amish pants are tough, cheap and don’t have belt loops. The 2” contractor/trades model is the only one in the market that have these clips. They never come off, ever. More importantly they are flat plastic so they don’t scar of mark walls, furniture, paint like the metal clasp. A couple yrs ago my psoriatic arthritis spread to my hip. My ortho recommended I stop wearing a bat belt & hanging stuff like for drills, tapes, etc off my belt & pockets. I figured why not just get rid of the whole belt. Works great. 3 sets of these braces have lasted 2.5yrs working construction. And only cause I stretched them out.

those suspenders are actually pretty good with the exception of two obvious flaws...the first seems to be the sharp edges on the inside of the sliding metal buckles... over some time they can definitely ruin your shirt or even your skin... got it fixed by just bending those edges a bit toward the inside with pliers... it feels and looks better now, though still not perfect...the second problem are the small metal pins inside of the plastic fasteners that can just easily fall out... it actually happened to me the moment I tried the suspenders on for the very first time... there are three simple solutions for this problem as I see it:- first, the original pins can be replaced with some thin steel wire like some short pieces of an ordinary paper clip with their ends bent over to secure them in place...- the other solution would be to put a tiny drop of crazy glue on both ends of each pin and then let it dry...- the third one would be to cover the holes, through which the pins are inserted, with tiny pieces of black duct tape...I personally have chosen the third one for the moment and let's see how it will work...
