Nepali Wayfinder Journal, Extra-Thick Handmade Lokta Paper, Sage

I Journal in Sunday school class and in church and love the idea of handmade paper journals so I searched and found this one. It's just a very simple handmade Journal but I love it and have had quite a few people ask me where I bought it so I have sent them the link. The paper is great quality and it's a larger Journal so the paper count is nice. It is lightweight and easy to carry. The value is wonderful for what I received.

I have been using these Nepalese and Kathmandu journals for some time now. Some are in leather covers, some in hardboard. This one is in a thinner cardboard-type stock than my previous ones - it is thinner but perfectly fine. The Lokta paper is very visceral to write on and you can use almost anything. I even write in mine occasionally with a Mont Blanc fountain pen. If you go lightly there might be a little bleeding through, but not if you are careful. Having said that, I mostly use ballpoint pens and pencils. A fine little journal for the price. I am not fond of lined paper or bleached commercial paper anymore. A great buy. Highly recommend.

Love this paper, the cover is cheesy, but it is a heavier cardstock, but I want to rebind with a homemade cover to put in my Chic Sparrow leather cover anyway. You will have to use a pen that won’t sink into this wonderful paper, maybe a roller ballpoint, muji gel .38 mm nib sinks in because the nib is super fine. I got one for me for my bible journal and another for a gift for a friend. I love the sage/brown color cover.

This is a beautiful handcrafted book with handmade paper pages too. I love the texture of the pages, so inspiring for something special to make from this book. The paper is made from inside bark of a lokta bush. So much lighter weight than I've seen before with a handcrafted book. I really like it!

I love this journal SO MUCH. It makes me feel good using it, experiencing these beautiful natural papers, and the rustic, natural look of it all. I have never found a journal that just makes me feel happy. Can you believe it??? It's true!

i ordered this to use for a "Monster Book of Monsters" book for our homeschool "Year at Hogwarts" and they are perfect for what I was looking for. Excellent quality.

The journal looks nice but the paper is very lumpy and bumpy. It's difficult to write on or to paint on.
