Bought for my mom who has sores/wound on back of her heel. Initially I bought her the round cuff, but that didn't work and caused pain around ankle after 15 min. Honestly I didn't think these bootie pillows would work, cuz why if you have sore on heel would you want heel touching something :/ (besides bandaid) - But she loved it saying she slept all night without pain and it was soft and comfortable. She has trouble bending over (back/leg pain) but said wasn't too bad & easy enough to put on. I just sent her a short grabber to help with that, lol. She highly recommends!

This a great product and well worth the money!! The material is great and the velcro closure is secure and adjustable for multiple foot sizes!! It’s also washable and has a great pillowy texture but most importantly it protects the heal and feet and allowed for proper healing.

I hurt my back and can't sleep flat on my back or on my left side. I use a CPAP so I can't sleep on my stomach either. I am restricted to only sleeping on my right side, night after night. This puts the heel of my left foot in contact with the bed all night long. After a few months of sleeping this way I discovered that I had developed some type of contact sore that was very painful. But what to do? For a while I slept with a soft shoe on my left foot, but it made my foot very warm and that made it difficult to sleep. Then, one day, I had a bright idea - check Amazon to see if anyone else could recommend something. And that is how I found this product - a specially designed Heel Cushion "pillow slipper". You slip it onto your foot, close the hook and loop fastener and go to bed. That's it. The slipper is very soft and after a bit you barely feel it. Also, the hook and loop closer keeps it on your foot for the whole night. At first it came off so I started using paper tape to hold it on for the night. But after a few nights I decided to skip the tape and I just make sure to close the fastener tightly. It holds very well and is quite comfortable. Ok, now to the good part >>> It works a treat! My heel is still resting on the bed, but the plush softness of the slipper keeps it from getting sore. Now that I am using this slipper, I can see my heel is getting better and doesn't hurt any more! Glad I found it. I was skeptical, because I expected it to be too warm, too easily lost in the bed during the night, or too uncomfortable. It was none of those things! And I highly recommend it to anyone who, like me, suffers from "a bed sore on the heel". Give it a try. Excellent product and not expensive.

Good product. Helps protect heals for bed patients

I bought these twice for two separate people, both bed-bound. They are the most comfortable pillow protectors I could find that do the job, and are very easy to put on and take off. Yes, they are definitely not as secure as others, but not because of the Velcro strap. From my experience the Velcro strap stays in place but the pillow is easy for the person to slide on/off if they put their mind to it. You have to keep an eye out for this if you buy them. Otherwise, very good.

These did not work for me. They fold over when you elevate your feet as pictured and are hard to strain both feet to hold them in a position to possibly stay in place.

I have Achilles tendonitis and Haglund’s on the back of my heels. Sleeping has been painful on heels for years and I simply can’t sleep without these now. I have ordered two pair and they go on every trip with me as well. Very helpful if you have heel pain and much less expensive than other alternatives.

The product is great and worth the money paid. It was dispatched on time by the company too which is a real help when you need something quick. It came well packaged as well. The product is well made and will do what it says and protect a person's heels (as well as keeping feet warm). The quality of the manufacture is of a high standard and will last a long time. These helped heal mom's heal pressure sore and avoid any others. Ours have been washed several times and they machine wash and dry well. We had a period without air conditioning and the house got very hot. We had to switch mom to sheepskin booties since these became too hot for her - basically little parkas for her feet. But I suspect for many elderly people with cold feet, this would be a positive attribute. These should only be put on after the patient is lying down and removed before they get up. They would be dangerous and slippery to stand or walk on.
