This henna produces a very nice warm red color even over brown hair. I was especially impressed by the customer service, as I had an issue with my order and they were very quick to send a replacement when contacted.

I first started purchasing this brand directly from the website in 2008 and have not liked any other brands nearly as well. The sift is really nice and the henna always cures to a really good dye. Other henna I've been able to find in Indian markets has had twigs/leaves in it or didn't deposit color as well either due to quality or age of the product. I've tried using the bricks from lush and again, not nearly as good of a color application. Also, for everyone who is thinking about henna .....The only thing the warnings get right about quality henna is that it cannot be stripped from your hair. It doesn't bleach out. It doesn't fade. It has to be grown and cut out inch by inch. I love the color of henna, I love how healthy it makes my hair, but it is truly permanent. You can layer darker chemical dye over it safely as there are no metallic salts in this product, but you can't go lighter.

The store's website gives you all the information on crafting Henna for hair dyeing. After many trial and errors my procedure is to boil water and mix with Henna and cover the porcelain or glass bowl and sit for only 45 min- 1 hour. About 60% henna and 40% water works for me. I only do my roots as I have alot of grays that keep growing. I dab the henna only the grays and put a shower cap on and shower after 2 hours. Don't be alarmed that there is some hair loss. I usually just wash with warm water and only condition the hair and not my scalp. I do this for maybe a week before I shampoo. I try to shampoo less as it causes more hair loss. I think the scalp gets a big sensitive from the Henna. It's is still healthier then using box dyes. Box dyes cause cancer.

I have colored my hair MANY different colors over the years and have done lots of damage. This henna is amazing and will definitely be my new go to for years to come. I used 200g of this henna along with 25g of their copperberry(they sell sample sizes off their website btw) and I had plenty to do my hair length and enough left to freeze for atleast 2 root touch ups! The color changes depending on the light. Inside it looks copper tinted brown, but outside in sunlight it gets a whole new level of bright copper with amazing low/highlights.

I love this brand! I switched to them about 8 months ago from Light Mountain brand. I have better gray coverage with this brand. My grays turn an orange color and look like natural highlights. My hair is dark brown so it gives it a slight auburn tint depending on the lighting. I get compliments all the time. They also ship their product fast! Thank you!

I’ve been using henna for 50 years. All types and grades. This henna was too rust colored with yellow undertones. I prefer a more red-orange. And I know henna. I’ve never used compound henna or any that had herbs added to it. This went dark rather quickly, and more brownish rust colored. I’m a Strawberry blonde naturally and only need to leave it a very short time to bring the fire. Maybe it was just old😞
