Paine's Bag of Balsam FIR Natural Crafts Pillows Potpourri Room freshener Approx. 18 oz

I’ve ordered this two years in a row. Both packages were super fragrant. I love using this as the main ingredient in my homemade simmer pot mixture.

This was past it’s prime, very little scent left and very very dusty. Threw it out.

As a potpourri it's fabulous. I was looking for something with more wood shavings for a quick ceremonial fire. Nonetheless, I opened the bag and left the bag open. My apartment has a fabulous natural Fir Balsam background fragrance. It can be used for a Fir Balsam ceremonial fire. However, you will need some cedar shavings or something such as that to burn the Fir Balsam. If you live in an apartment or don't have the capability for a large ceremonial fire, wood shavings work well for small ceremonial fires. In the absence of shavings you could use their incense...

Fragrance is very nice fills my room without over powering. Will buy again.

usually a great filler for "Christmas" sachets , this lot was lacking in the fragrance strength .

I purchased this hoping I could put it out in an open container in my study and have the room filled with the fragrant odor of balsam fir. No such luck. It does smell lovely, but the scent won't fill much more than a dresser drawer. Maybe I was foolish for thinking it would be strong enough to fill a room, but it definitely is not. I have to put my nose right above the bowl to smell it at all. Again - it smells great, and perhaps it's not meant to fill a room, even a modestly sized one, but be aware when you purchase this that the terrific smell won't travel far.
