I've been looking into LED strip lighting for a while to complete my lighting setup. I've tried some cheap LED light strips before but they never ever met the (already tempered) expectations I had for them and have always been let down by the overall quality. Not to be discouraged however, once I found this strip I decided to try it out. The main things I liked about the product were both the length (500 cm), the fact that it's waterproof which greatly increases it's use case and the simple to use yet very complete remote. I was not let down, the strip is long and made with a very strong adhesive, easy to fit and easy to operate. The thing that most stood out when I fitted it aside from the great ambience it created is the brightness and colour quality of the LED's. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a light strip and I'm already considering buying another one.

I bought two of these waterproof strips. They are REALLY well constructed the strips are of a surprisingly good quality I was impressed. I installed them on top of two sets of kitchen cabinets. Installation was super easy. Unfortunately, one strip performed better than the other. By this, I mean one strip was superb, but the other seemed to produce the same colour OK but just seemed to produce less vibrant colours. - a sort of weaker or brighter output. I contacted the manufacturer whose details were on the box and they immediately offered a few suggestions which did not work. So they kindly offered a replacement which arrived sooner than anticipated and matched the good one perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase and to be honest quite surprised at the great quality of support from GOVEE the manufacturer.

A decent LED kit at a fair price but not perfect. I bought 3 of these kits and in two of them the 12v supply plug was faulty at the earth pin. it seemed the plastic moulding was preventing the plug from fully seating into the socket...not a problem for a DIY enthusiast like myself but most people won't have a Dremel at home. I swapped the IR remote for a wifi receiver to connect to my Echo. Works great!

I'm a lover of all things neon so i've purchased alot of strip lights over the years, but these are excellent quality. The best I've ever come across. Firstly they have a VERY sticky back meaning you don't need to use adhesive to attach them, and when you pull them away from the surface they don't leave marks or tear anything. So ideal....I honestly thought the remote and colour options were just a gimmick and i would just end up using one or two colours. But i absolutely LOVE changing the colour to suit the mood or time of day!! And the remote makes it really handy to turn on and off in bed. I have some fitted behind our bed so i can breastfeed my baby in the night without disturbing my hubby. The remote lets you turn the lights up or down in brightness as well which i find really useful. The only tiny thing i can fault these lights on is they don't seem to have a true 'warm white' colour. The white setting is a little too white and the yellow setting is a bit too yellow, but the company do sell them in warm white only (I bought some of those as well and they are PERFECT) I would absolutely recommend these lights and i will def be buying them in future...I love them!

Got these for my PC setup and I'm really happy with the results. The strip seems pretty durable, the adhesive could be a bit stronger but it does the job. The lights themselves look great, very bright and not too much of a gap between each light, plus the remote has all the controls you could want. Highly recommended!

As it says in the headline... The whitest these lights can go is a sort of pale blue which is unmistakably blue or a sickly yellow colour. They are fairly bright but nothing special. The adhesive on the back lasted about 2 weeks after being applied to an alcohol cleaned and dry flat surface. I can't imagine they would stick to any surface better. The remote control has a fairly short range but this wouldn't be a major problem if it weren't for the fact that... If you use almost any other remote control in the light's vicinity it changes them to a different colour. After turning on the TV, changing channel or volume and turning everything off, I had to change the colour of the lights back. Given the short range, this meant walking across the room to set them back to my required colour or putting up with them changing to a garish shade of whatever colour 'Up' on the remote was! Simply not a very good product and have discarded mine. They are certainly cheap but you do get what you pay for. I cannot recommend these at all. Spend more and get something that works.

Excellent for under cabinet lighting, very easily installed & extremely effective when in operation, The remote offers an amazing amount of colours and brightness levels all with great effect. This product offers many installation alternatives and much more value for money than many of the other Deck light types on offer.

I was happy with this product when it first arrived. Placed it under my bed on the wood. It didnt stay long. The lights worked for the first few hours, then half the lights were the wrong colour. There are two separate strips glued together to make the 5metres. I cut the strip in too as I wanted to put some lights behind my tv in the room, and I used a separater wire bought separately, however, this did not work at all. Could of been a loose connection, but I still have not been able to get this to work. Some research on these, Minger tends not to be the best brand. Its a good product for how much you pay, but it is not the highest quality. I will be paying more for a better quality product as I love the lights. ALSO: the remote receiver that comes with this product is not Alexa compatible. I had to buy a WIFI LED Strip Controller separately. This was €10. Look for one that comes with this WIFI controller in the box as it will help your smart room setup.
