Does this crystal melt ?

No, they are secure inside the candle, in small pieces

Will it work if I set this intention for a loved one to let go of attachments?

Attachments? There are many kinds, it is up to your loved one to do this and seek help to accomplish this. It is their place and life path. You can send supportive energies and thoughts, but "letting go" is their choice and perhaps their lesson. Good luck.

What to do with the stone from the Let it go

I left the stones in the candle.

Are you able to use for someone other than yourself? Manifesting to let go of something for someone other than yourself?

Good question; but not usually. Universal law is that a person has a path and freedom of will and choices need to be made by themselves. You can, however, hold them in your thoughts FOR THEIR HIGHEST GOOD and send them good energies...supportive energies in their life journey. You should not attempt to change things on their behalf. Very good and caring question. Good luck .
