I wasn’t expecting to much for $25, but this has certainly surpassed all expectations. The blade is beautiful and razor sharp, and the wood handle is very nice looking and holding up well. The sheath is useful for protecting the blade, allows me to be a little bit more care-free in how I store the knife. Very happy with this purchase!

Not good at all

Very keen edge,nice balance and a comfortable handle. This appears to be an ordinary chef's 8" blade which has been given a "damascus" effect. Couldn't see any evidence of true damascus formed metal. Anyway for the price it's fine. Will just have to see how the thing holds up to everyday use. One more thing: never ever treat this or any other knife lightly. Yes a guard is supplied but do not just drop it in a drawer and think the guard will keep it safe. They slip,stick and deteriorate. Put it in a secure environment. A solid knife bag,a good knife block,etc. Be careful!I Update : after about 6 months this knife still maintains a good edge. Use it every day. Good value for the money.

It seems absolutely ridiculous to me that this is priced at $25… the knife is very comfortable to use, very sharp and light in your hand. The blade design is also a big plus, makes it look that much more fancy. Blade sheath is great, preserves the sharpness of the blade, and the box is perfect for gifts. Highly recommended!

Son says it slices raw tuna very nicely !
