"China. Where else would it be made? If you were expecting USA then good luck finding one made here. If you get lucky and do it will cost 2-3x as much for the exact same item." Snarky enough? Nasty enough to send me shopping for a different product.

What are the dimensions of the 12.7 quart air fryer?

Dimensions: Exterior: 14" H x 12" W x 11 1/2" D Interior: 7 1/2" H x 10 1/2" W x 9 1/2" D

How is it at”frying” vegetables? Are they crispy? Do you need to turn them in the middle of cooking? Has anyone tried the dehydrator?

I don't fry vegetables so I decline to answer with certainty. I do know that right below the power button there are 3 settings that allow you to choose the top, bottom, or both top and bottom heating elements. I suppose if you choose the top and bottom heaters, you won't have to stop half way to turn the veggies.

can heat & timer be set manual

Yes. To the far left of the power there are 4 settings: arrow down, thermometer, timer, arrow up. Tap the thermometer or timer, then either the up or down button until you arrive at the desired temperature or time.
