All Good, Amazing Value Vs. OEM
After misfires and codes, decided to change out the plugs and coils on our 2008 Ford Expedition 5.4L V8. Motorcraft coils were $40 a pop. Read a lot of reviews on these coils and decided to try them out. Packaging is A+++++++, these things come in a box with individual cutouts for each coil, the presentation is great. I chose black to match the OEM coils and to not appear flashy and aftermarket. The coils themselves appear OEM with the exception of the sticker on them. I was worried when I pulled out my coil and found I have the new "brown boot" coil and new spark plug design, but had read questions here about that and they said the coils will work. Watched a few YouTube videos to know what I was doing. Each coil held on with a 7mm screw. Took my time, took of each one, blew out the hole with compressed air, pulled out and replaced each plug. Put a dab of dielectric grease on the end of these, and installed each out. Ran the motor after each one to make sure they were firing. The back coils were difficult to get to, but if you take your time it is not that hard. Engine no longer misfires, no codes, back to normal. Not sure if I will see any performance improvement, or fuel economy increase- does not feel like I have any more power, but everything is back to smooth running. Love the fact these have a 2-year warranty, and from what I have read, they pretty much will just replace your entire set f one fails- and in my book you can't beat that kind of customer service. Very happy with this purchase, and would certainly purchase again. Love the way under the hood the truck still has the OEM look- can't even tell I replaced the parts other than these new coils are nice and shiny and clean!

Great product for the money, worked perfectly, good quality
Wow, these coils were a great deal, good price, great quality and packaging superb coils were well-protected. Looked exactly like what was installed in my OEM 2007 Ford expedition. Looks like it fix the problem of the engine stuttering from 40 to 50 miles an hour. Would definitely recommend. Install time was about 30 minutes.

Bravex coils work great
Coils were just like the OEM ones that I replaced and they fixed the missing problem I have had for months of troubleshooting. So nice to finally have my car working again. Thank you for the great product at a reasonable price. Now if I could just figure out what caused my originals to fail all at once.

Great value, work well, look OEM.
My Mustang has 135k miles on the original coils. After they got hot the car would sputter and buck, but not throw a code. I bought these and replaced them in about 25 minutes. They were very easy to get installed and the car runs great now. One of the easiest and best values so far when repairing my car.

Pleased with performance
I bought this set for my '06 Expedition. It was doing a shudder between 40-50 mph indicating a misfire. Changed out the spark plugs and installed these ignition coils. The shudder is gone and the 'ol engine has some pep again. I recommend these. Our local auto stores were charging $230 or more for a set of 8. These were packaged really good (I work in shipping for the last 16 years so I've seen it all). Happy I went with these.

Good purchase for the money
Installed them 3 days ago. Seem to do everything they are supposed to. All of them work properly and truck is running much smoother. (Had one of the originals breaking down on my 3V 5.4). Don’t really notice a significant gain in power like posted in other reviews. But so far so good. Not a bad purchase for the money. UPDATE ONE MONTH LATER..... Already have one breaking down. Truck has thrown a check engine light, which it didn’t do with OEM. Maybe good for a quick fix to sell your truck, but wouldn’t recommend for the long haul.

50/50 that’s your odds
Great price!..BUT ….BUT….. you get what you paid for! The odds are 50/50 on you getting a bad coil. And you don’t know until you get a service light and learn the hardest coil to change is misfiring, yet it’s brand new! Good luck

I have a relatively new to me 2007 F150 5.4l 3V with 134k kms (82k miles) on it. which developed a failed coil and another @ 50% output. I purchased my black Bravex 8 pack coils and received them the day before my earliest suggested delivery date. IIRC 8 days from order. The coils are packaged well, look and feel higher quality than I expected. I removed the old coils and had an issue with a seized hold down bolt on #4 and further damage to the aluminum mounting wing/bolt piece, and ended up having make a special little bracket/hold down for that difficult to reach coil. I also chose to change my plugs not knowing if they had been done before. I studied the procedure from here and in particular the linked TSB from FORD. https://www.ford.samhaynes.com/sparkplug.html As it happened a good decision since 2 - #7, 8 plugs were only finger tight and very susceptible to blowing out. They had been changed at some point to cheaper Champion plugs and looked like they had anti seize on the shoulders per FORD TSB so along with my extensive cleaning of the plug holes ( carb/injector cleaner, scraping with thin screwdriver and compressed air made removal much easier. No broken plugs that sometimes occur. I had 3/4 inch of carbon/dirt in the plug holes (up over shoulder of plugs). We installed new redesigned ( to resist breakage and carbon build up) Motorcraft plugs. Then installed the new Bravex coils which fit perfectly on the plugs and in the plug hole giving a solid pop seal when seated fully. This should greatly help reduce the crap that entered the plug holes before. Now the best part. The truck has been given a new life with much better throttle response, smoother idle and seat of the pants estimate of 10-15% more power compared to before the coil #4 stopped working. It really woke this truck up. Now it feels like the engine specs it has. Just excellent. I will update this post if something happens within the 2 year warranty and I have to make a claim. So far an excellent experience with this product.

I bought coils for my truck from this seller on Amazon in Jan. of 2021 I started getting misfires and my phone app says couple of coils were failing. So Sunday around noon I emailed the seller thru Amazon. I only asked if they may have a warranty. At 4 Sunday a email asking for my address at 10 Sunday a email saying new coils were shipped. Purolator delivered them about a hour ago. Tuesday morning not even two days later I changed the coils and now the truck is running properly again. Wow
