Stomachion or Ostomachion Puzzle - Worlds Oldest by Archemedes - Made USA by Creative Crafthouse

I'm not sure of the cut on some of these pieces. I've been able to solve it in a couple different ways, but I get the sense that there are some solutions that won't be possible because of imprecise cuts? Just not sure. Otherwise the box and pieces are quality, and still a good way to pass some time

This is a great and gorgeous puzzle. The design is honestly more akin to the level of craftsmanship I would expect from an artist on etsy. Definitely a lovely piece worth leaving out on a coffee table or as a conversation piece.

This puzzle is very beautifully made and really great quality. The pieces are thick which make it easy to grip and place them. The square case it comes in is made of sturdy wood with a beautiful engraving of the puzzle name as well as a description of the puzzle. I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to purchasing more puzzles from this company in the future. Which they included a nice pamphlet that shows all their puzzles. Highly recommend!

Bought it as a gift for my son. Very difficult at the beginning, but once you notice a pattern you can do it far more quickly.

First, the colors are not the same. Mine came with pieces in an awful green and a horrible yellow, instead of the shown green and imitation wood.Pieces are not of the same thickness.The information that comes with the puzzle is so fantastically inaccurate that it defies description. For example, it says the Stomachion is arranged in a "cube", not a square. Read a good book on it, as The Archemedes Codex or even online information. The total number of ways of putting together the puzzle is 17125, NOT 536 as the box says on its cover.The wooden box is good, even though it says the wrong number of possible combinations.
