Exactly what we needed. I was worried because of some reviews about not being strong enough. These are strong magnets but the results seem to depend on the surface they are sticking to. I found that they weren't great on the side of a painted metal locker (see video), but were great on our fridge and on a metal radiator in the bathroom - vertical one. Amazon doesn't allow uploading of more than 1 video, but we did the same clothing test on a radiator and it stayed perfectly with no sign of slipping). I highly recommend. Hooks were well made and sturdy.

It's a hook with a magnet on the base. You find something metal, you attach the hook (with its magnet) and you can hang things from it. Clever and useful too. Good quality metal with fairly strong magnets.

Just needed a few basic hooks on a mgnetic strips on top of my stove to hang some utensils. They're simple cheap hooks, holding out alright. Not the strongest magnets, and the loop of the hook is a bit tight and small for thick plastic utensils - thought I'm not rating on this criteria as it can be noticed from the pictures

I have a tiny kitchen, and a family of four foodies. So with very little cupboard or drawer space, I decided to give these a try. I bought one set, decided I loved the idea and bought another. I am currently trying to see if they have any larger ones as I need something bigger to go through the handles of some items. As to strength, I can't really imagine them holding 18lbs. Perhaps under ideal circumstances, such unattached to another neodymium magnet, or at the very least and unfinished steel sheet. Mine are attached to the hood over my cooker. They are currently holding up most of my kitchen utensils. We did try a pan, and it held but the hook wasting enough to slide the handle into easily. Also had an extremely heavy garlic press but took it down,not because the magnet wouldn't hold but because I was afraid someone would drop it taking down and it might smash my glass top cooker. Since they are pretty small hooks , I would expect them to hold most things you can fit onto the hook without problems. But be aware layers of paint on a radiator, a very low steel content in whatever you put them on,and other factors may affect performance. I noticed someone had trouble with them on a refrigerator and I remember having n I'd refrigerator that vibrated so much , the magnets would gradually move down. They weren't as powerful as these, but that may be art of the problem. And of course remember they are magnets.... if the surface is not magnetic, or has a low amount of magnetic material, it wont work. There is one work around though if you want these on a non magnetic surface... install powerful neodymium magnets on the back, and it should be able to hold through a sheet of glass or wood, but strength will be weakened. Finally, because they are very powerful these must be kept out of reach of children who are young enough to out things in their mouth. It isn't just the choking hazard. If a child should swallow two powerful magnets , or a magnet and another magnetic item,they can attach inside the body with layers of intestine caught in between. This happens more than one would think and can be fatal. If the kids are older though, we used to find it great fun to attach a small neodymium magnet like this to a toy car with a bit of tape, and use a magnet rod or another magnet taped to a ruler and drive the cars around by magnetic repulsion. You can also make knives and forks move about mysteriously on a table too and all sorts of other fun things, but only if the children are old enough. In short I wouldn't hang my cast it on cookware from these even if the handles would fit. They aren't huge. And I don't really see them holding up a Dutch ovens. But for my scissors, whisks, spatula, landless, measuring cups and bab tongs they work perfectly and I still don't have enough room in my kitchen, but it has helped.

Bought to add some utensil hooks on a metal BBQ. Very sturdy and incredibly useful with a strong magnetic hold. Immediately bought two more packs for using around the house (on metal shelving to hold a bottle opener, on metal bolts in a child's bunk bed to hold a dressing gown). Easy to use and surprisingly strong.

These are indeed strongly magnetic. But they did not fully serve my purpose because they slide down the surface they are attached to. You presumably need to put them on a rough surface like sandpaper. Well, I don't possess such a metal surface, my metal surfaces are all smooth.

Used as key hooks stuck to the side of the fridge. I have a piece of fablon to stop the fridge getting marked & Wow they are strong even through the fablon! They hold a big bunch of keys and they dont budge. Worth every penny.

Brought these to hang my coats up in the back of my van until I can get racking installed. When they arrived they were absolutely tiny! The magnet is no bigger than my thumbnail. Slightest knock and they fall off and that's without anything hanging on them. Don't waste your time or money!

Ho comprato questi ganci magnetici da posizionare sul frigo per appenderci guanti, presine e il grembiule da cucina e devo dire che funzionano benissimo! Una volta posizionati non si sono mossi, reggono benissimo il peso di quello che ci ho messo e sono anche belli da vedere! Sono soddisfatta

Lo pillamos para una taquilla que no tiene perchero. Al ser de metal, genial, se adhieren muchísimo y aguantan mucho peso. El único inconveniente es que los ganchos vienen como pasados de rosca de la base y no hacen tope, por lo que se vez en cuando se desenganchan de esa zona. En general, bien producto que puede salvar de un apuro sin esfuerzo.
