JanSport Klamath 55 (Grey Tar/Forge Grey) Short

This is a REALLY nice pack, but this particular listing is for the SHORT version of the pack for 13-16" torso, which will generally mean it's for people under 5'7". I'm 5'9" and it's way too short for me. I bought it for my 6" tall brother for Christmas, so obviously it was a disappointment.

I have only taken this pack out a couple times and thus far, no complaints. The accessory pockets (2 side, 1 front and 1 hood) provide plenty of room for all of my small pieces. The large main pocket and bottom sleeping bag pouch provide plenty of room for my hammock gear, including a bear canister when needed. The adjustable GridFit shoulder straps are a nice addition; you can really dial in your perfect fit. The ventilation on the back is pretty good. The shoulder and waist straps are a little stiff, but I am hoping they will get broken in. There are a few places where I think JanSport could have trimmed some weight, but that is a minor detail. For the price, I am very happy with this pack. Make sure you have an idea of how much gear you are going to be packing, so you can get the size you need.
