The media could not be loaded.  Really love this. I bought one first as a Christmas present for my friend and she loved it too. Then my Mum's coal effec gas fire broke and isnt going to mended for weeks so she is having to have a fan heater instead but i bought her this so she would still have a focul point in her living room. She also absolutely loves it the batteries have lasted for ages and it stll looks lovely. She says when her fire is back she will use this at christmas.

I have a wood burner which sits empty most of the year. I saw the photos of one of these in an empty wood burner and liked the effect. Having received it today I am surprised how much I like it, it looks like a cheap toy, like another review, said, but when you put the 2 C size batteries in, (Duracell 2 for £1.99 at Home Bargains!), it looks very effective. BUT, it is too big/tall for my wood burner :( I have only just got it so I can't say how long anything lasts with it, but I am loathed to send it back because I like the effect so much. But just a warning, there are smaller ones on Amazon, so if you are putting it into a fire, check the size because this is a sealed unit, the top is sort of glued on. The only bit that comes off is the screw-on circular hook on the top. The batteries go in the base.

The lamp arrived in good condition and when I put the batteries in,what a transformation, the fire place looks so cosy you can also imagine you feel heat from it,I ordered 1 for a elderly neighbour who is also over the moon with his lamp,there was talk about noise in some reviews you can barely hear it ,overall very happy with my lamps,would definitely recommend.

What I liked about this is that it's just what I was looking for - something to give a bit of glow in my now unused multifuel stove (need to order another one though, as just one on it's own is too small). Gives a very nice effect.What I dislike however, is the fact that it arrived damaged, with just a big hole in the top where the hanger should be. I wish they'd check items are in good order before sending them. I don't live near a town and haven't time to post it back.

Small but really makes the area it is in feel cosy & — even warm!! Have had lots of great comments about it - am thinking of getting another as a present for my daughter. Very pleased with this purchase - don’t think you are buying an actual fire!! , but it lends it’s cosy glow to a dimly lit room perfectly! & the batteries seem to last for ages too !!!!!

Uses the batteries very quick and made out of cheap material, the top broke when first received. Looks nice though when it's on.

I have placed the lantern in my chiminea it looks great at night . Looks like a real log fire .

It gives a nice effect but nothing different really from the electric fires you used to see in the local electrical store.It is cheaply made, flimsy and takes C batteries which are not so common now.The biggest problem is the noise. Whatever pleasure you may derive from the visuals you will lose with the racket. I presume there is some plastic wheel inside which is attached to a cheap and nasty motor. Lots of ‘whirring’and ‘clicking’. Maybe I am unlucky judging by other reviews.I don’t think it is too unfair to describe this as ‘tat’

Usata in coppia in un camino per un bellissimo allestimento, poggiata su una grande ghirlanda innevata, con lucine rosse, a simulare la brace.Le misure, che non sono dichiarate, sono: H totale 30 cm, L 16 , P 14 ( parte luminosa H 13,5 cm, L 11,5 ).È tutta in plastica, naturalmente, ma molto ben fatta, l'effetto accesa è ottimo, rumorosità della piccola ventola interna zero o, in una delle due minima. Prezzo ottimo. Acquisto ok. Già ricomprate altre due.

Das Geschenk war eine gute Idee. Freundin hat sich gefreut und was ich gesehen habe sieht die Beleuchtung nett aus. In der dunklen Jahreszeit auch gut im Innenbereichen verwendbar.
