If you are after an exceptional Australian wine – do not look further!
The Cover Drive Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 wine is quite strong - at 14% alcohol but it does not feel that way when you drink it.I must agree with the winemakers description: the colour is deep dark red yet very clear and the wine itself has strong aroma when drunk at room temperature (definitely do not drink it below 15 or 16 C).I am not a sommelier thus find it difficult to give a good enough account of how pleasant this wine is. The taste is very smooth yet bold and I can definitely taste all of what was described: dark berries, hit of herbs and kirsh cherries.deep garnet in colour with high clarity. It is not the cheapest, but if you want an exceptional Australian wine – do not look further!
