Very good book

This book has clothes and in boxer briefs of the image's wide variety of angles with almost a 360 view of the fight scenes. The only thing that sucks is figuring out the creator's name without speaking what looks like Japanese.

I ordered this as a reference book to help me come up with ideas for animation.Pictures are clear and everything is labeled.Picture order is easy to follow. When I get some more money I will be ordering the first and third book of this. I recommend if your an animator or wanna draw some cool action poses very good reference material in this book.

This book packs a lot on each page, but you will probably want to take the image you wish to use and have it enlarged at the copy store. The actors range from 4" only 1" tall in the photographs, which makes using the reference material as-is slightly challenging. The format is 26 cm by 18.5 cm (10.25"X7.25"), so again, not a large-format book.Lots of great martial arts and "gun-fu" poses throughout, however. I'm very happy with the dynamism of the photography and poses, clearly some talented models.

The action poses are well-done and the angles of the photos are so dynamic!!! You have high-angle to low-angle shots (plus neutral shots)... for each action scene. Also, one movement (kick, punch, block etc.) is documented in progression, so it give someone a lot of options to choose from. Love it so much.

This volume is money well spent! The photos are sophisticated and captured beautifully! I can't wait to use them as reference soon!

It’s an amazing action reference guide. Fantastic fights scenes with high quality images. Only problem they are small pictures but amazing fight reference. Highly recommend to those artists who use these books in their work.
