EZ Steps Stretch Dual Leash, Small, Red

The Good: The "bungie" action absorbs the sudden pulls from my Golden Retriever puppy. (Her adult Golden sister never pulls).The Bad: The handle, which is wrapped in a rubbery foam, although comfortable, is beginng to tear and rip. I don't wear rings and my puppy weighs all of 35 lbs. There is no excuse for this after THREE weeks of use! I wrote to the manufacturer to complain, and I even included a link to photos I took showing the problem. All I got back was an auto-response, a promise of a future response that said "a Bergan team member will contact you shortly." I gave them a week to respond. That never happened. Poor customer service?========================AFTER I wrote the review above, I received the following messages and response from the Bergan company:October 18We have not heard of this and will be happy to forward this on to our Product Development Team. Do you happen to have the specific item number? Do you happen to remember what the tag looked like? We have changed suppliers. So it would be helpful to know if it is a old supplier or the new supplier. I do not think that the "consumer response" people were particularly on top of things.Unless, they were really busy with negative email and that delayed their response. But, I like the product. I hope it holds up.

After trying various products (no pull harness/slip collars), this is by far the best hands down. I am very impressed with this leash...I just came back from a 2 hour walk and this was my best walk I ever had with my dogs. I have to Staffordshire Terrier's, one is almost 2 years and the other is 9 months, and we have some trying walks. I successfully trained my 2 year-old dog Samson to walk by myside without pulling by way of a choke chain, but when we rescued my 9 month Baby Girl, he seemed to have forgot how to walk! Our first walks together led me to be tangled up at least once every walk, and not enjoying my walk at all with my babies. I then tried the no-pull harness, but my dogs would get terrible sores under their arms and they seemed to pull harder than ever with it (even though the leash loop is in the front).Shortly after these early adventures in walking, I began good old fashion leash training (with no choking correction) and simple changes directions (or stopped) whenever i felt a pull. This technique tested my patience, particularly because i walk my dogs at around 4 in the morning before work. I purchased this product on prime in hopes that it would allow my walks to be more enjoyable and allow me to leash train. We went out a few hours ago, and it simply a great walk. The dog gets corrected by being pulled back into the heal position when its pulling, while the other dog (walking well) feels nothing on the leash. After 5 minutes into our walk there was zero pulling from my older dog Samson and the little one pulled much much less than ever. In fact, halfway into our walk she gave up on pulling and walked at the heal positon alongside Sam. I felt like a pro!During our walk, we found ourselves walking down a narrow sidewalk which made it difficult for both my bullies to walk comfortably side by side, so they split and I had one on one side of me and one the other. I simply place my right hand with the handle behind my back and they walked at heal comfortably with leash slack. The leash by the way is very comfortable, no soreness in my hands or shoulder, which is great since these dogs are very powerful.Highly recommended.Bryan

So I decided to buy this leash after looking at several others on both the amazon.ca and amazon.com store.99% of the reviews I read were positive with the exception of one very negative review. Well I don't know what the hell that person was talking about, but I absolutely love this thing! I have a little tank shaped Puggle and another tank shaped French Bulldog.I've never had an easier time walking them at the same time...EVER. What's strange is that I think it changed the behavior of how my dogs walk now! They seem a little more in sync with each other. One dog will still pull one way and the other dog, another way, but when they do that, they both sort of pull each other, making them think that it's me trying to correct their direction, which then puts them back on track and in a straight line...The material used is definitely premium materials. The whole thing feels very heavy duty! And the option to take each individual leash off is super convenient!Also, NO TANGLES!!!!! I can't tell you how stress free walks are now....Don't be stupid and buy a different brand, GET THIS BRAND, GET THIS ITEM! You'll thank me, Amazon and the company later....

A great addition to our walking gear for two Catahoulas. The bungee effect is nice... dogs gently get guided back on their halti's. Would have been nice to be 6-8" longer as sometimes dogs back legs and my feet meet... solved by adding a 12" on each side. The rubber covers for the bungee loop clasp have begun to move and expose the clasp but can be slide right back on... no big deal. Foam on the handle loop is comfortable and. If looked after should last. All in all a good purchase.

Two 70+ lb dogs, but it's too heavy duty for our purposes, but more importantly it doesn't work for healing very well at all. The positioning is the factor here, the dogs have to walk ahead to make this leash comfortable at all. It's bigger than it looks, not for the average large dogs that you're still working on heal with.

I like the idea of this lead, with provision for walking two dogs at the same time. The only suggestion I have is that each lead could be about 9 inches longer, so our two Siberians aren't tripping over one another, and we aren't stepping on their heels. The one thing this lead has done is to teach them to walk in tandem, not each of them going off in their own direction.

I finally received my package. This leash is wonderful. I've used other coupler leash before and nothing compares to this one. Versatility you can use one or two leash, the fabric is strong for my two pitbull. The handle is perfect and I feel less pain in my shoulder and the ride is more fun. Thank you!
