If you really enjoy the whole ritual of shaving with a double edge
If you really enjoy the whole ritual of shaving with a double edge, single edge, or shavette razor, then seriously consider getting this brush. I first came across a reference to it on you-tube, but when I saw the price I thought this was more of that excessive machismo "Buy my product to make you a real Man" BS. But I saw it's a silver tip badger brush made in Germany (supposedly the best), I read the positive reviews, and I wasn't that happy with my other brush (it was okay), so I took the plunge. I'm glad I did! This brush is phenomenal - whips up shaving lather unbelievably well (I like Taylor of Bond Street), holds it without dripping etc, and works it in evenly to all whiskers. It truly makes that part of shaving a pleasure you look forward to in it's own right, not something you rush through so you can shave. If that's your style you're better off with a safety razor and an aerosol or gel... In addition this brush cleans up great and holds it shape perfectly once you shake it off after thoroughly rinsing and allow to air dry. To date I have not lost a single bristle that I'm aware of, and I've used it daily for a year. I have three brushes (one $16, one $42, and this one at $95), and I always go to this one. $95 is steep, I know (I thought $42 was steep too!), but no hype - if you're into shaving and can swing the bucks, go with this brush. I'm aware of the two star reviews and sorry to hear that, but this has not been my personal experience at all. Finally I seem to get less nicks using this brush compared to others, with soap and razor staying the same. Can't explain why, but that's been my subjective experience. I alternate between a Feather SS single blade Shavette, a Feather all stainless Double Edge, and a Merkur HD 34C Double Edge - I like them equally well, although the shavette can scare the hell out of you - do not rush it! I speak from bloody experience...

Great Shave Brush
Very nice brush. Holds lots of water and lathers well. Very tight but soft and has not shed. Just don't drop it on your toes because the handle is rather heavy.

Highly recommended.
Exudes quality from its weight, quality of finish and zero hair loss after several weeks of use. Highly recommended.

Excellent and pricey brush
Excellent and pricey brush. Feels great on the face and generates lather in a hurry. It has held its shape and not lost any bristles over a month of use.

Great price for a silver tip
As described. Great price for a silver tip. Own several. Great lather. Takes greater effort to fully rinse.

Awesome
Best brush I have ever bought. Heavy but really solid. Top notch silver tip badger. I have not lost one hair in the month I have had it.

Five Stars
A very nice upgrade from my older, lower-grade brush. Very soft, holds and applies the lather very well.
