NuSci Aspartame Pure Powder 50 grams (1.75 oz) Low Calorie Sweetener

When using a very small amount of this Aspartame powder, it’s not bitter. It doesn’t contain Ace K (Sulfame potassium) & there’s no aftertaste. Whoa! Thirty five mg of carbohydrates for that tiny amount?! This is not a good choice for diabetics on a zero-carb diet.

I have diabetes and cannot use Equal anymore as it contains Dextrose and Maltodextrin which spike my blood sugar. I decided to try using this to make my own blend with Allulose. It works great. Between the two the taste and sweetness is pretty spot on the same as table sugar in my tea or coffee, hot and cold. I've used it for home made hot chocolate, add AFTER heating up the milk and cocoa. I also use this mix for some no cook deserts. Aspartame is VERY SWEET, a little goes a long way. I purchased this quite some time ago and am just getting down to the last third of the bag. I will be purchasing again.

The taste us excellent. It's equal without the fillers and without the stupid packets. I like sweet tea, and used to use around 2cups of sugar per gallon. One tablespoon of this is perfect for a gallon of sweet tea. I did have some clumping in there first gallon. Learned to put the aspartame in first, then pour the steeped tea over and shake it really well before filling the gallon the rest of the way.

A fine powder, contains all the sweet taste of aspartame without the packet. Supplement this with 1/32 teaspoons. Caveat: Aspartame does not dissolve easily in cold liquid unless it is fairly acidic. Phenylketoneurics (they know who they are) don't use this.

It works as a sweetener. Clean looking COA (certificate of analysis), looks. smells, and tastes fine. Free of discoloration or clumping. Wouldn't mind seeing a few other tests added to the COA - but I can't complain since there are so few sellers.

I make a homemade liquid sweetener using pure aspartame and distilled water. Have been doing so for years, and never a problem with aspartame from other sources. But something is very wrong with this one. First off, it's maybe half as sweet as it should be. Second, part of it never dissolved, even after a few days. Finally, the solution started growing BLACK MOLD, which means there's something extra in there to feed it (pure aspartame and distilled water will not). It's clear that this is cut with some unknown substance. I really don't trust ingesting it, and it's too late for a refund. So it's going in the trash, a waste of money. I will make sure never to buy from NuSci again.

Good product to money ratio when you consider just how strong this is compared to regular sugar. However, as other reviewers have mentioned, the product does not dissolve easily, sometimes even when mixing into hotter liquids. The product did not work well for my intended purpose, which was essentially making diet flavored sodas. If you intend on purchasing this product for a similar purpose, I would not recommend it. However, if you are looking at adding it to teas/coffee's than it may work, however, your results may vary.
