Fits good. Immobilized my thumb. I wear it when I sleep. Does what it is supposed to do.

Great support would buy this again worth the money

This product works. Period. The stabilization plates are perfectly positioned and padded such that you don’t feel them at all. It’s pretty slim for these things; but is really nicely adjustable. I sleep in this almost every night, and am not bothered by it at all. I’m treating carpal tunnel and some repeated spraining/straining of the joint where the thumb bone meets the wrist. The first night I wore this, the next morning I felt about 60% improved. After about a week of solidly wearing it, which also helped me be more mindful of avoiding activities/motion’s that strained the joint, I felt no more pain at all. After about 3 months of wearing it most nights and sometimes during the day, even with repeated additional strains /tweaks/sprains of the joint during the day when I wasn’t wearing it, it feels about 1,000 times better than before I had this. I’m still healing; but I would not have been if not for this. My only complaints are the Velcro on the thumb doesn’t stick to anything; and it doesn’t stay stuck once you get it as stuck as you can. Thus the 4 stars instead of 5. And the hand strap is a little long for my little hands; but I’m not docking anything for that because I wrap it down at an angle to the wrist, then wrap the wrist strap over it. Both of those straps have good Velcro that sticks really solidly to almost all parts of the brace. The only other thing that I’ve noticed is that I can still injure or strain the joint while wearing the brace because it doesn’t stabilize the wrist down the forearm. I’d like to see if this company makes something like that.

Bought both the wrist brace and the thumb splint and have been using both over the past two days to help relieve some wrist pain. Thumb splint to bed, wrist braces while working. Materials are fantastic feeling and seem durable enough for now and, for the moment, feel like they should last quite some time. Velcro stays in place while the material provides just enough stretch to provide a comfortable compression, while being stiff enough to support the wrist. Reading the above, you may wonder why the "almost" in the headline: If I had one complaint about the two Dr. Arthritis wrist braces, it is that they aren't the easiest things to get on. Once they're secured, they feel secure, but it does take a bit of finagling to wrap the brace around the wrist, while the thumb splint takes a little bending to get it situated. It's certainly not impossible, though, and it just takes a little practice, so I won't dock any stars for it. That being said, for their price, they're great. I would highly recommend them!

Got this brace for a little extra help while working and also for gaming. Helps relieve pain and stress on my thumb without hindrance and it’s very comfortable. Happy with my purchase.

I love how this stabilizes the thumb and wrist and have felt a difference in pain, but it cuts into my thumb so badly. I have started putting cotton rounds below the thumb strap to help stop it from pinching my skin but I still wake up with raw skin and a sore spot. If the thumb strap was higher up this would be a perfect product but it remains to be seen whether I’ll be able to keep using this brace.

A month or so ago I noticed some pain in my thumb from lots of time typing on my laptop and decided to give this a try. It made a difference in days along with the helpful exercises that are included with the brace. This purchases is my second brace so I can have one in different rooms of my house. They are comfortable, well made, and the brace can be used on either hand. I switch it up now to prevent RSI pain.

After just a few hours, I already started to feel a difference as far as stabilization goes. I recently was diagnosed with De Quervain’s Syndrome and was grateful when my PT sent me a link to this product— i had been wearing a wrist stabilizer brace and my PT said “no, that’s not going to work— get this instead, you need to stabilize your thumb.” It has now been 3 days and the pain has gone down drastically! I can finally use my hand without flinching. The brace is beyond comfortable, and with the 3 adjustable straps, it’s easy to find a tightness that works for you and provides the support you need. My hand also can breathe which is just as important, and when I take off the brace at night, there are no red lines or marks signaling that it was too tight on my skin. Overall i couldn’t be happier with the product, and recommend this for anyone who has this same syndrome or needs to stabilize their thumb, but also wants to be able to live their normal daily life and keep up with the same routine they are currently doing.

I have arthritis in both thumbs, one worse than the other. I bought one of these thumb braces quite a few years ago, and it has worked so well, I just bought another for the other hand. The brace is excellent quality, has adjustable velcro straps for the wrist, hand and thumb so you can adjust as needed. The thing I like most is that the brace doesn’t sit too high up in the palm, leaving your fingers completely free for typing, chopping or any other activities. Other braces I’ve tried sit too high and leave fingers restricted, so this was a big plus for me. The brace also comes with a nice booklet about hand and thumb exercises, arthritis care etc. Very thoughtful and a nice touch. This is excellent value for money and comfortable too!

Hurt my hand pushing up the stiff handle on a PVC door and damaged my Carpel Tunnel, was really painful, especially at night in bed. I looked up my symptoms and support was recommended, this Thumb Brace did the trick. Wore it in bed at night and after a few weeks (took that long to heal) my hand was back to normal, had the odd twinge, so would but it on again at night. Glad to say all good now. Would definitely recommend this Thumb Brace, for a hand injury, to keep it in place while it heals.
