Admetus Men's Genuine Leather Short Zip-around Bifold Wallet

As far as I can tell I'm the only man on the planet who wants to carry a few bills and about 20 cards total, who doesn't care how they're all organized, and who still wants a fairly thin wallet. When I stack up my cards and bills on a table, they aren't that thick. But every wallet I have tried makes the stack twice as thick or more. All the thin wallets are rigid enough that they'll only hold about 5 cards total, and it seems like the wallet options are either "Super thick wallet that can hold everything" or "super thin wallet that holds an ID and a couple cards and nothing more." I want a wallet that holds about 20 cards and a few bills and doesn't add a lot of extra thickness beyond the cards themselves.This wallet works pretty well for that purpose -- after you cut out all the extra parts of the wallet that aren't needed. I literally took scissors and cut out the coin purse on the right side. (Why do all these wallets have coin purses? Does anyone really need a coin purse anymore? Sheez.) I also cut off the flap in the middle that's designed to hold an ID on one side and organize a few cards on the other side. That leaves me with (1) the original billfold area, which is deep enough to hold bills on one side (folded) and a stack of cards on the other; (2) 3 card slots on the left side, where I put my most commonly used cards (and the slots are wide enough to double up cards in each slot if you want to do that); and (3) a pocket on the right side for less-used cards, which wasn't really accessible until I cut off the flap in the middle.By cutting out all the parts I mentioned I lost the thickness of about 6 layers of leather plus the bulky snap on the coin purse, i.e., reduced the thickness by about 1/4". The wallet is now about 5/8" thick, even with my 20 cards in it. Which is close to perfect for what I wanted.I'm going to try gluing the clear plastic ID window back onto the right side, which will make the wallet closer to perfect. The one thing I will still want at that point is a divider in the bill area that goes up the spine of the wallet, which will keep my cards from sliding from one side to the other. (Not the typical divider that runs lengthwise, but one that's about 4" tall and 1/4" wide and runs top to bottom in the middle of the wallet.Other things I like: The leather on the wallet is really nice -- smells good, feels good, looks a little distressed without being at all worn out. That's my favorite part of the wallet. The zipper works well. The stitching and general construction quality looks really good. The stamp on the front of my wallet is tasteful.This product clearly comes from a non-US culture. The gift box it comes in is labeled "Top Grade Leatherware" on the top and "High-End Gift" on the bottom. So ... if you're looking for a gift for someone, and you want to be sure they understand you're giving them a high-end gift, this gift box will do the trick.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I had a wallet very much like this that I enjoyed using for many years. I love how it can hold my credit and debit cards and insurance cards. There are plenty slots and they actually fit the cards! You can get them in and out easily, but they stay securely in there unless you want to remove them. There is a place to put full bills and another to keep receipts. And you can see your entire drivers license in the slot where it goes! I just love this wallet! . Stitching is well done. I bought the black wallet that is smooth on both sides . I just love having everything I need in a small wallet again!! There is a slight odor but I took it outside for a day and it pretty much resolved. That is the only negative thing about this wallet! The zipper closes smoothly and even though it is very full with all of my stuff in the wallet, the zipper closes very smoothly all the way around it. It is very well made. I can see it lasting and serving me well for many more years. I bought a different wallet that looked like it had similar features, but the zipper separated the first time I tried to close it! This one is so smooth and easy to open and close the zipper. I’m so excited and relieved that I bought this wallet! I highly recommend it! I have two security cards in this wallet. The other wallets made by the same manufacturer have the security built in!. This one doesn’t. But I always play it safe and put my own security cards in there anyway.

The wallet is great , a lot of storage, the color and the presentation, wonderfull wallet and smell like a leather, thank you

Great craftsmanship, zipper is a great plus. Outside card pocket also great for that always needed card. He loves it.

ordered the Admetus Men’s Genuine Leather Wallet as a gift for my father. The leather feels high-quality and the construction is solid, but unfortunately, the wallet is larger than we expected. He was hoping for a more compact option to easily fit in his pocket, and this one felt a bit bulky for everyday use. It’s a nice wallet overall, but not ideal if you’re specifically looking for something super slim or minimalist.

Just the perfect size and holds up beautiful

Nice wallet, lots of areas to store cards etc. Most importantly the zipper works smooth.only used 1 month but quality seems good.it is thicker than all other wallets I have had so if that is an issue don't buy. Other than that it is a good buy.

My husband loves it ! It is a really nice leather wallet and comes in a brown protective cover which we first thought was the wallet and we had ordered black. It was always in a very fancy gift box that took two days to throw away because we were trying to think of a use for it . The wallet has plenty of space for all his cards and still is thin and very well made. It would make a very nice gift. The price is very reasonable for the quality.
