I understand the mat doesn't slip but is the surface slippery when wet and someone is showering on it?

Mine does slip because the shower floor is textured...I didn't realize that..my shower is small so it's no problem..it works for me...just don't purchase if you're floor is textured...surface is not slippery when wet...it's quality material...

How well does it pull up with all those suction cups?

It easily pulls up. This is the best shower mat that I've ever bought. My shower floor is tiled, and although it's recommended for a smooth surfaces like a bathtub, it works fine. No slippage as the suction cups keep the mat in place.

Why wouldn’t this stick on tile?

It actually does stick on the tile we have used it on. We travel with this mat. We used it two weeks on a tile shower floor and the grip was secure. It may depend on the composition of the tile.

How can i return this? the fine print says not for textured surface. if you have this return it. so i tried and amazon wont return it.
