If you're familiar with Persona 4, you'll know that this volume is an adaptation of the time period between November 5 and December 3, the darkest and most tragic part of Persona 4, following Nanako's abduction in the previous volume. In addition to covering the sixth dungeon, it also shows parts of the Jester Social Link, which was added in Persona 4 Golden. Not only does this volume of the manga effectively cover a critical part of Persona 4's story, but it also effectively fleshes out Soji by showing that he, like Nanako, struggled with loneliness and constantly busy parents during his childhood. It also serves to drive home how hard this time is for Soji, since he's once again coming home to an empty house now that his uncle and cousin are in the hospital. It's also shown that just as Soji has influenced Nanako and his other friends, they have also taught him lessons and serve as his source of strength during desperate moments. Without spoiling too much, the volume eventually leads up to the game's single darkest moment and ends on a cliffhanger. If you've enjoyed the series so far, I highly recommend this volume.
