PowerBass OE692-TY - 6x9 Toyota OEM Coaxial Speakers Upgrade - Pair

Installed these on my lady's 2008 Tacoma and they bolted right in as replacements, stock wiring harness worked perfectly although I did have to unravel some tape on the stock harness to be able to reach the connector on the speaker, it wasn't a big deal. I'm not a huge audio nerd but I can tell they have better mid/bass range than the stock speakers and the clarity is better.

I purchased these because I am a bass player and was looking for something with low rms that could give me what I wanted (some low, but mostly mid bass - a good example of what I wanted to sound better is the bass line in Snoop Dogg - Tha Shiznit). These are a SIGNIFICANT improvement over the stock speakers. The tweeters are awesome as well, very clear. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their speakers without buying a head unit/amp. These are really great. They won't make your mirrors shake vigorously and set off car alarms, but that wasn't my intent. I wanted something that was clear and loud enough to be able to feel the bass, (so basically what you'd expect from a factory car that comes with a decent sound system). That's what these are. They came with Rivets, but I used 3/4 inch sheet metal screws and it worked just fine. I used ProForce Waterproofing tape for sound dampening, (this was rebranded to Resisto Waterproofing tape) from Home depot. This worked really great for dampening and was super cheap ~14 bucks and had a lot left over. If I didn't do the sound dampening thing, this would have been a 20 minute job, but since I took the time to do that, it took about 45minutes per door. I highly recommend this product. I can only imagine how much better they will be if I choose to upgrade my head unit (I probably won't).

Disappointing! I got these for my 2021 highlander because my front driver side stock speaker was crackling. These were pretty much plug and play with the connectors they gave with the speakers which i liked. 3holes lines up but had to drill one of them, not so bad. When i tried it out, i found that the sound quality was lacking. I was going to switch out the passenger side until i heard what it sounded like. The stock speaker on the passenger side had way better sound quality and deeper bass than the new one! Not going to return...just gonna deal with it for now.

Bought these to replace a blown speaker on my 2014 Toyota 4runner SR5. It fits pretty well not perfect the holes were designed for rivets, but the screws can still go through, since it's a universal fitment. As for the quality they definitely sound good, I can't really tell a difference though from stock. Definitely cheaper than going to the dealership

Great product sounds amazing

Install we simple and straight forward. Quality is great. After install, I noticed the stock, cheap speakers still sounded better. These might with better with an amp to get full potential.

Wow, what a great product. This was a perfect fit for my 2008 Toyota Sequoia front door speaker replacements. They secured into place in the original position’s reusing the same screws. The box came with wire harness adapters so it plugged right in to my factory JBL stereo system I would highly recommend these. They are nicer than the originals.

This sound a bit better than factory, unsure if they are a quality bass item, but the truck sounds great with them. The radio I bought as a replacement was poor quality, but still better than factory.
