The Ultimate BeadRider (UBR) is the best beaded seat available on the market today. Several years ago, BR began testing different materials as an option to the wooden beads, to improve the quality and durability of the seats. The UBR is constructed with reinforced ceramic composite beads that are designed to keep you cooler, drier and more comfortable in even the harshest conditions. During months of torture testing by some very serious riders, the UBR withstood everything we threw at it and looks and feels new to this day. The UBR seat is made to last years, whether you ride 1,000 miles a year, or 100,000 miles a year. The Ultimate BeadRider seat comes standard with marine quality straps to attach to the saddle.

Not worth the pain
First, the good: This Beadrider fit the seat just fine. It attached easily and stayed in place without issue. It even looked good. The bad: I bought this on recommendation from other riders. The claims were it would allow for longer rides with less discomfort. That is a fairytale. I own a Suzuki Intruder VS1400, which isn't the most accommodating bike for long distance rides. I knew that going into the purchase, hence the reason for my interest in it. My ride was from central Florida to Arkansas for a motorcycle rally. I was prepared for an uncomfortable experience just because my bike is more of a short distance machine, but this Beadrider made the ride unbearable. I used it for the entire trip to Arkansas and the entire time I was there. I even used it for the ride out of the mountains. I would get a very sharp pain in my tailbone after about 2 hours of riding and there was nothing I could do to ease it. I kept telling myself it was my bike, but as soon as I removed the Beadrider, the pain stopped. At that point, I only had to deal with the uncomfortable riding position of my bike, something I was glad to do after dealing with this seat cover. If you plan to ride with this Beadrider around town, or maybe even for day trips, it might be fine. It does allow for decent air movement while in the saddle. But the pain I endured on the long trip was not worth the benefit of improved air flow. The Beadrider does seem to have good quality to it, it looked the part, but it didn't deliver the improved comfort I expected.

If you need to disperse pressure, relieve sweat-pressure skinrash, and don't suffer tailbone pain, this is perfect.
I was looking for a solution to the general discomfort of the stock seat on my 2013 BMW R1200GS, which included severe tailbone discomfort over time. I did not believe this would solve that--particularly the tailbone pain--and I was right. While it did provide some relief to the general discomfort 'up front', it did nothing for the tailbone pressure. This would do well to solve issues for folks who experience other forms of discomfort which would be solved with dispersing their body pressure over several points on the seat, as long as they don't have tailbone pain. The quality of the product is superb, and I may try this again on another motorcycle seat in the future. If they offered a product with the center/rear cut out, it may be perfect for my needs. I would recommend this product to others in the right situation.

Nice Seat but Stitching Breaks
The media could not be loaded. Likes: I can slide on the seat real easy. By that I mean that my read does not stick to the vinyl of the motorcycle seat. It also prevents swamp ass since there is ventilation.Dislikes: These things only last about a year on my bike because the nylon fishline used to hold the beads together is too weak and break,s and then the beads start falling off. This seat needs to be redesigned to use a stronger cordage to keep the beads together. I wish there was someone out there that did reweaving work/repair on these things.I had to add extra cordage to mine to strengthen it.

Can't say they are exactly the feel he is looking for but he has a lot of friends who love them.
Bought these for my husband. He hasn't used them on them on the motorcycle seat yet, but in the truck for a long ride. Can't say they are exactly the feel he is looking for but he has a lot of friends who love them.

Keeps My Fanny Cool
This seat cover does what I bought it to do...helps to keep my fanny cool on long rides in warm/hot temperatures. Got the 14" size that was recommended for my 2016 H-D Ultra Limited Low. Probably should have gone with the next size larger as recommended by another reviewer.

The beadrider rocks!
compare to the cost of a custom seat, $up to $900, the $50 for the beadrider is chump change, the beadrider worked great, easily extends your riding stents, makes it easy to move around in the saddle. It is not perfect but very cost effictive, would highly recommend to any rider wishing for more comfort on a budget. and the ceramic model is the one to get.

Keeps your "seat area" cool and comfortable
I've been on 2 "long rides" (250 miles +) using this product. I have to say it made a significant difference in my comfort. You would not think that ceramic beads would add comfort, but the most noticeable aspect of the product is the added airflow. Keeps your "seat area" cool and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Don't go anywhere without it.
I first bought one of these about 10 years ago as a last ditch effort to find something that would keep my leg from cramping on longer rides. I don't know how or why -- maybe there's a massaging effect -- but it worked and I haven't had a problem since then. I keep it on in all weather as it keeps my butt off of a wet seat when it's raining, and it provides some ventilation in hot weather. It's heavy, well-made and looks great. More people should use these!
