TigerGACAPO9-BL Quick Release Trigger Capo for Acoustic, Electric, Bass Guitars - Blue

Perfect and only 6 quid
Perfect for my acoustic guitar and less than half the price when compared to some of the other branded ones. These exact capos are sold by other companies for up to 20 quid or more and the only difference is the tag or brand. Which is insane if you ask me.These are made of metal, have a really strong spring, and a decent amount of rubber on the inside to protect your guitar. Does what it`s meant to and should last a good long time.Bargain at 6 quid, highly recommended

Quality Budget Capo
Not perfect, but it does the trick. I left my nicer capo at a friends house while travelling and needed to purchase another until I could retrieve mine. Obviously wanted one as cheap as possible.Occasionally, this one takes a little jiggling to get it to hold the string smoothly. That said, it's never much of a hassle, and once well in place, it works as well as any. I also like the matte black look, which is somewhat unique and attractive. It feels sturdy. I've been using it for 6 months now and it still works just like new.Might not be the right answer if you're a serious guitarist playing gigs, but if you need a spare or you're just a beginner on a budget, this is a great choice.

High quality. Pleasing design. Great value for money
I am a working guitarist and needed a capo to play some unusual selections at a wedding ceremony. There is no messing about with screws, straps or clips. Holding the device like a gun, you simply press the trigger down and move it over the desired place on the guitar neck. When you let go of the trigger, the capo automatically locks onto the fretboard with just the right amount of pressure - The process is smooth and can be done mid-way through a song. It has a strong grip and I have no problems with tuning or performance. The capo has rubber fittings on all surfaces that come into contact with your guitar - This ensures that your neck avoids scratching or damage. It's a solid design and pleasing to use. The Tiger Universal Capo is now a permanent fixture in my arsenal of guitar gadgets. At just over five pounds it has been good value for money.EDIT: I have noticed other reviews on this page warning of flaws in this capo that I do not recognise. To clarify - I have used this capo on electric and acoustic guitars with no issues over several years. Discussion suggests there is another company producing a low quality knock-off. Make sure your device is a Tiger Universal and not an imposter.

Excellent!
It's amazing how much variance there is in the price of capos. For a device with such a simple job, you'd think they'd all be relatively cheap! The good news is that you don't need to pay through the nose as this one does the job perfectly. Easy to use, nice protective rubbers on both the string and neck sides of the clamp, does the job just as effectively as one costing four times as much. What's not to like?

so decided that a budget option may be the best bet in case I lose it again
I seem to lose capos on a regular basis, so decided that a budget option may be the best bet in case I lose it again! As a bedroom musician, this does the job perfectly. The spring action is firm and provides a nice even pressure along the width of the finger board. Its also wide enough to use on my 12 string and have used on tenor banjo, each time giving great acoustics. Occasionally you may have to slightly re-position the capo when placing it onto the strings in order to get it seated properly, but that seems to be the case with this style of "claw" design.

Works fine, looks good, feels sturdy
bought for use with a fender squire and it fits the next fine.the spring feels good, i've only had it for a few months but it doesnt give the impression that it will break easily. Was slightly concerned over the build quality, given the low price, but its excellent, and if it does happen to break i would not hesitate to buy another.
