makes your hair feel so soft and clean after, and not drying if you condition as you normally do. smells sooo good like granny smith apples. i use it on dyed hair (oops) and it works pretty well. it’s definitely great for the price!

I love Aveeno lotions so I decided to give this a try. I bought the shampoo and conditioner. I'm one of those people that have many many bottles of shampoo and I actually have a big closet in the bathroom with 2 shelves just for my shampoos. I love what this does to my hair. It lathers up thick and is easy to rinse. The scent is light but fresh. My hair feels clean and soft. I don't have issues with my hair but it's long and thick so I need products that clean/clarify and detangle. It does not weigh my hair down like most conditioners. The shampoo gives a beautiful clean, gentle but effective. I can go about 3 or 4 days in between shampoos now. The Aveeno name is quality and now I can say it's true for their hair products along with their lotions. It tinses clean and quickly so there's no residue left in the hair, no greasiness, no weighing down, nothing but clean hair. I bought my 2nd set tonight. My husband always tells me to clean out the closet because he's never seen that many shampoos. Now that I discovered this, I will be cutting down in buying other propane wasting money. Btw, I donate my mostly full bottles to a homeless facility that is very happy to get them.

I got this to try and restore my hair and scalps ph. We recently moved and this is the first time in my life that we are using city water. My entire 39 years my hair and scalp has been accustomed to well water. Lately my hair has been a hot mess. It makes no sense other than the new city water you can smell an extreme amount of chlorine when the water is running ~ so it is stripping my scalp and my hair every time I shower. This is a good shampoo, a good value. The citrus scent is not my favorite personally but the shampoo cleans my hair well, and seems to be brining some life back into it. It was really lacking volume and becoming overly dry and really frizzy all the time with trying to adjust to the new water. My scalp was just starting to really dry out and show signs of dandruff too. Problem solved, this stuff really did the trick to help mellow out my hair. Tip: Citrus scents like this Aveeno shampoo has, have a way of waking you up through aromatherapy. Use this in the morning not at night. If you like to shower before bed then the fragrance can actually perk you up instead of helping you unwind to get rest. A solid 4 I would like to find this exact shampoo with perhaps a lavender fragrance so I could shower at night without it waking me back up with the citrus fragrance.

I have what you might call grease-prone hair. I also have hard water, so it's easy for residue to build-up in my hair. Not a great combination. I was researching products that would be helpful for both of those things, and I came across this Aveeno Apple Cider Vinegar Clarifying Shampoo. I was quite hesitant, since apple cider vinegar is one of my least favorite scents. Actually, vinegar of any kind makes me start to gag. But my hair was giving me a particularly hard time, and I was just desperate enough to give this a try. I figured I could at least hold my breath while using it. When I received the product I decided to take a tentative sniff first, just so I knew what I would be dealing with. I was definitely hit with the scent of apples, but the tangy vinegar notes didn't follow it. I don't know how they managed that, but I am grateful. It's the sweet without the sour. I am also quite pleased with how the shampoo works. You don't need a lot of it, and it works up into a beautiful lather. It rinses well, and leaves my hair feeling clean and soft. I've heard people say you shouldn't use it too often because it will strip your hair, but I've used it multiple days a week in a row and haven't noticed any issues with that as of yet. I don't think it leaves my hair dry or frizzy at all. I do still have to wash my hair daily, but I don't think there will ever be a product that will change that. This may be a niche note, but I do notice that wasps seem to love the scent this shampoo leaves behind. If I know I'm going to be spending a lot of time outside that day, I will use a different product because I don't want them diving into my head. Just thought I'd mention it.

I’ve repurchased this shampoo multiple times, which honestly says everything. I have very fine hair that gets oily quickly. By the end of the day, it can already start looking flat and greasy. This has been one of the few shampoos that actually makes a noticeable difference without making my hair feel stripped or dry. What I really appreciate is how clean my scalp feels after using it. It does a great job removing buildup, but it’s still gentle enough that my hair doesn’t feel stripped of moisture. My roots feel lighter and have more volume, and I can usually go longer between washes compared to other shampoos I’ve tried. If you have fine, oil-prone hair and struggle to find something that cleans effectively without weighing you down, this is definitely worth trying. It’s become a staple in my routine.

I was originally using a shampoo bar which I loved in that it helped my hair feel thicker and more voluminous. I did, however, find that it made my scalp break out in small pimples all the time, as well as leaving residue. I decided to switch to this clarifying shampoo based on the great reviews. I will say that it has helped my hair feel more clean and not left any residue behind. It also smells very nice, and I don’t break out in my scalp anymore. Something I also found is that it has been making my hair fall out a LOT more than it was before. To clarify, I usually brush my hair before I get in the shower, since hair is going to fall out a little no matter what. But using the shampoo bar, I rarely got hair falling out while I was in the shower and afterwards. With this Aveeno shampoo, I pull out multiple strands of hair after I’m done shampooing. It also comes out a lot more when my hair is already dry. I could be just moving my hair from one shoulder to the other and pull out 5 strands. Maybe this shampoo is only meant to be used sparingly or once I week? I’ve been using it 2-3 times per week. In any case, I don’t think I will be purchasing this again.

I had this shampoo in older packaging and was thrilled when I realized it wasn't discontinued as I thought. It smells great, leaves my hair soft and clean and is great for my scalp. I have had trouble with scalp infections - get them from where I have no idea - and this has been a terrific product to ease the itching. Perfect!

Smells nice, lathers well, and leaves my hair feeling clean without being harsh. Very happy with it.

Dry schalp , seems to work

Absolute game changer for fine hair. I have been on the look out for a good, clarifying shampoo for fine hair for years and after trying multiple brands I think Aveeno is the best one I have decided to settle in for.. It is definitely on the pricier side for sure does the job of making weighed down hair feel fuller and livelier.
