MeisterMMA Dragon Hybrid Flex Board Shorts

Meister MMA shorts are some of the best I own! I wear these for no-gi BJJ, Krav Maga, and kickboxing. They work very well for what they're meant for. The material is light yet strong, side slits aid in flexible movement in bjj and kicks, and the drawstring/velcro is fantastic at keeping your shorts tight to your waist. Oh and also the pattern is fantastic!! Unlike others here, my designs have not begun to peel.. Even after washing. Just be sure to turn the shorts INSIDE-OUT to preserve the designs. Simple as that!Now where's the cons?Honestly, there is only one. The issue lies in the sewing. From the moment I got my shorts I immediately noticed the sewing and excess string fraying all throughout the shorts. Of course this does not encumber the shorts or even bother me at all... It merely worries me that the durability may not last. You can see what I mean in the pictures I posted for this review. I will update after I have some time to wear and wash the shorts.

This pair of shorts has a comfortable waistband. The material holds up well in training and is an excellent value at its price point.

I've had a hard time with MMA shorts, typically because the velcro wears out quickly on most brands and anything in the under $50 range falls apart generally. I've been wearing these shorts for a few months now, and these are actually my 2nd purchase of the same ones. A little weird at the gym wearing the same design all the time (I wish they had other designs too), but no complaints on the quality. If you're super active in them, just be aware that the velcro is high quality, so the draw string may get a little torn up when it catches in the velcro. Mainly if you're training 5 times a week, just more wear and tear on the draw string. Easy to replace though, so all in all--definitely worth buying.

Ive had these shorts for some time now. They have stood up to the test of time, Ive worn these a lot in the gym.They are comfortable and allow mobility (for high kicks etc)They are durable and more importantly... affordableI recommend these.

Bought these for my son based on feedback from others. He is 5'10 and 150lbs with a 31" waist. Ordered the medium and they fit perfectly! Could not have been happier and the price was outstanding. Very good quality and the leg/shorts part moves very easily during all types of mma/bjj activities. The velcro waist/belt strap is pretty stiff but it stays snug to the body, and doesn't move around. It has drawstrings on the inside, strings themselves are pretty strong and not some cheap shoelace type of string. There is also a smallish inside pocket for your mouthguard if you needed a quick place to put them.Very happy with the shorts, price and quick turn around time from point of order to point of delivery.

I've been training in MMA and Krav Maga for a little over 6 months and love it. I am constantly on the search for the best workout apparel. These shorts nail it - they're damn good looking, fit PERFECTLY, and are comfortable and have held up and in place through a few classes already! I will follow up in a few months to give feedback about durability thru multiple washes. So far, Meister is nailing it with my training apparel! (I also bought their compression shorts w/ built-in cup holder) For reference, I am 5'7", 165 lbs, with a lean, athletic build.

couple rolls in these so far. Seem decent - long board shorts and the fabric has a good heavy weight feel to it.
