Our DC75 started making nasty noises from the brushbar, and suspecting a knackered belt I took the brush head apart (2 small plastic swivel nuts you can operate with a finger - love Dyson design) I noticed the brushbar bearing end looked very worn and 'odd'. Removing it (2 philips screws on the bracket at each end) showed the central bearing had parted company with the brushbar itself. This replacement, while not a Dyson original part, fits perfectly and runs very smoothly. Having picked out the dust bunnies, replaced the screws and reassembled the head cover, it now runs perfectly as before. Happy to recommend this part.. and pretty simple to repair, even for a DIY noob..

The part fitted fine into the existing brush bar head. Cheaper than many other replacements available. There are on line videos on how to replace it that help.

The brush has been used extensively and shows very little sign of wear. The problem was that when unboxed, it came with an incorrect end bearing carrier, so wouldn’t fit the machine. Luckily I was able to swap over the correct one from the brush I removed, the bearing from that still being in good order.

Great product, the Dyson brush had destroyed itself and this fitted really well. Great value, seems to be working perfectly so far

Purchased to replace a worn brush bar set. Easy to install, and work as well at the originals.

I don't know what's wrong with these brush bars but last year I had to replace them four or five times as they only seem to last two to three months before the white plastic insert gets chewed by the Dyson gear knuckle and then they break up and no longer rotate. is it because they are not true dyson parts ?dont know.
