Read alot of reviews . Because of some of the negative reviews I only purchased a 1year subscription, just to check it out. Well after some setting adjustments, this VPN Rocks !! Very reliable and super fast. I am not sure were some of the negative reviews were coming from. But as of May 2022 using it in the USA North East, my experience has been great !! Just do some speed test and check what locations and IP they read you from. If you have any issues Nord has alot of info, or do a google search, plenty of info out there. Only issue I had was my edge browser was not using it. I later found my split tunnel settings were incorrect. I installed the edge app, but found I dont even need to use it on my desktop. I originally bought this product in July 2022 and am just now writing this review in January 2025. Nord has been awesome. After my subscription expired, I renewed ever year since. PROS: It has a smooth and easy to use interface. Numerous VPN's to select from all over the world, including specialty servers like enabling a Double VPN or using "Onion Over VPN" to utilize the Tor network for increased privacy. It includes bonus services with your subscription such as a "Dark Web Monitor" that scans the web for leaked data related to your email, as well as Anti-Malware features, and Browsing Protection. Versatility -- I use the NordVPN application on my desktop, laptop, phone, and tablet. CONS: Occasionally it drops connection. However, its not that often, but when it does I simply switch to a different server.

Received NordVPN couple of days ago and I am really happy so far. Works great on all of mine and my girlfriend's devices. Setup was very simple, it seems that the product is developed to be used by the majority of people, even those who are not very tech savvy. By now, we have successfully installed the app on two Macs, two iPhones, PC and Android TV box. I am starting to think about configuring the service on a router so that all of my home network could be protected behind the VPN. Definitely worthy investment in your family’s safety.

You might be surprised if you order the far more expensive physical delivery. It is just an envelope with a registration code and address of where to download it. So why not just download the far cheaper version? The pricing doesn't make sense. Update: I sent the envelope back but they claimed it was damaged. Not so and they can see it was never activated. That didn't matter. After three attempts to get a refund but they not only kept the product but they also kept my $100 (apprx amount).If all you want is a bypass to SafeSearch then get Mozilla VPN. Cheaper and super easy to use.

I was going to buy just NordVPN but saw an ad on the Amazon NordVPN page to buy Bitdefender also. I trusted the ad and bought both products, but have sometimes had significant difficulties trying to run them both at the same time unless I turn on the physical internet access before I boot the computer. The products actually overlap: Bitdefender also has a VPN, and then apparently the VPNs struggle to take control of the port. And unfortunately there is no way to turn off Bitdefender's VPN, so Bitdefender is all or nothing. And NordVPN's write-up says that if you run NordVPN, you don't need anti-virus software, but I thought a VPN was only to monitor the data coming in and out and then to monitor, encrypt, and block it as needed. Whatever else NordVPN is doing sounds beneficial, except that there is more potential for conflict with Bitdefender. My impression is that the two products are in competition, with each trying to be a total solution, and preventing customers from using only individual components. Amazon, please don't post ads to buy NordVPN and Bitdefender together. Those ads might have been appropriate before Bitdefender added its VPN, but not anymore. I think that Amazon neeeds to just let sales of both produts occur naturally, with people choosing one or the other, and then appropriate and positive customer reviews will be written and posted for each product. My task at this point is to choose which one to keep and which one to de-install.

A couple of years back I fell into a Surfshark rabbit hole. SS is probably the worst vpn I have ever purchased. It was extremely unreliable and would disconnect even if the autoconnect and kill switch were activated. Now jump to the end of 2022 and I'm back with the best vpn available on the market. Nordvpn is worth it. And every year around the holidays they drop the prices for us. Connection and speeds are great on my Samsung tablets and phones. Same goes for my Win11 laptop. Drop 40 bucks for a subscription, your privacy is worth that much.

The software seems to work well to maintain my privacy. Every time I check the IP it doesn’t show anything like my true location. I also don’t get a bunch of targeted emails since it was installed. I put it on an old laptop that I had scrubbed free of all personally identifiable software, and wiped all histories and profiles that were placed in hidden files or cached. I used it with freshly installed chrome and have had no issues yet. My only question has been how my location is determined when signing up for twitter, facebook and the like. Even though my IP checker showed me as being in Miami, the twitter account picked me up as being in Europe, and Facebook thought I was in South America. I thought that was odd, and it forced me to do a little work with the accounts to correct my location to the US, but still well worth the anonymity.

It's good and fast makes surfing the internet safer specially if you traveling safer way to pay your bills and fishing affectional documents online.

the serial no I got didnt work, hence it was returned. yet the bigger problem is their customer support, who literally were incompetent and were not able to help or validate the issue nor solve the issue. Even trying to activate the product was a hastle. I got PIA which worked on the spot!
