Warm & comfortable
First time using merino longjohn’s for skiing. Was motivated to buy these based on owning and wearing Icebreaker sweaters- always great quality

Utterly disappointing
I own several “thermal leggings/pants/base layers” from all across the spectrum, $10-$110. My previous daily legging was the $50/$60 2.0 Under Armour from Scheels. I have thermals from Younkers (32F brand) and base/long Johns from Walmart. This winter (2017-2018) has been historically cold for my region. -15F was common on most days. I found myself wearing 2/3/4 thermals/base layers to keep my legs warm underneath my khakis/slacks at work.My hope was that these $100 Merino wool leggings would solve my problem. I was wrong. I don’t understand the marketing behind this product/brand, when I had to pair these leggings with another baselayer to stay warm.I was disappointed in the overall warmth of the product. The quality is evident. The lack of odors after extended use is a nice touch. However, the overall performance of the product was comparable to the $50-$60 UA bade later I purchased from scheels.Save your money. My recommendation for best value would be the Walmart $20 Long Johns. Best overall value in terms of warmth/cost ratio.
