Look good, but !!!!
They look good & just thr right size but, and a big but, no use if you have poor grip or arthritic fingers. Am returning.

Did the job
Good product but sadly not for really thick hair, so I had to reduce the number of hair I could include in a clip for it to close.

Small, effective if not overfilled with too much hair
Though smaller than the clips I am looking for from the 80s-90s era. The clips are made the same. One solid piece with plastic tortise overlay. I just use 2 clips of this size on my thick hair instead of using one longer on that no one seems to make anymore. If you put too much thick hair in the clip, the plastic tortoise overlay will crack, didn't break off, but snapped.

Just like I remember!
Thrilled to have found these barrettes! I used to use ones just like these years ago. I had been looking but couldn't find small barrettes with a clasping mechanism that would work with my thick hair. Then I remembered the ones I used to have and searched for them on Amazon and found them! I love the small size! Perfect for holding just a small bunch of hair. I love the way these close! They are easy to open and stay closed even when full of thick hair. I adjust the metal slightly by bending it outward just a smidge to accommodate my thick hair. It works beautifully! And the tortoiseshell color blends nicely with my dark hair. Love, love, love!

Barrett's are pretty
Barrets are tight which I like because my hair is thin and bigger barrettes my hair always falls out of but they're so tight that they're a little hard to open but that's easily managed
