Amazon Basics Camping Tent, 3-Season Dome Design with Rainfly

I normally use name brand backpacking gear, but bought this for a “one-time” use at the last minute before a short trip with the grandkids. I was pleasantly surprised with it. Shortly after arriving at our site it started to rain and this tent set up quickly and didn’t leak. It has plenty of room for 4 (two adults and two kids). It doesn’t have any vestibule, so boots and backpacks need to stay outside under another cover, or in the tent. There’s only one door, so midnight trips out can be disruptive. The entire top 3/4 of the tent is mesh. So even with the rain fly on it breathes well. Since I only used it once I can’t speak to the durability of the poles. The bungee cord trough the poles seems “meh”, but worked fine for its first trip. Best of all was the price. I had no problem spending the money for this tent that was the right size, quality, and weight.

I have zero complaints about this tent. It spacious and appears to be made well. I’ve used it in Acadia with the family as well ass just normal camping. It withstood some high winds and rain without any issues. It’s super simple to put together, one person can do it but it’s easier with 2. Never noticed any leaks, but it does collect condensation. I recommend it.

Pretty happy with this tent overall. It was easy to set up, even by myself, and the rainfly does a decent job keeping light rain out. There’s enough room for two people and some gear, and the ventilation is nice. The material isn’t super heavy-duty, so I wouldn’t use it in rough weather, but for weekend camping or backyard use, it works great. Definitely worth the price.

Got this last year and just used it for the first time. This tent sleeps 2 adults comfortably but 2 adults and 2 children seems like it would be tight. It seems to be well made and the tarped bottom comes up the sides 6 to 8 inches for moisture protection. The door zips fine but the rain flap does get in the way with each zip. It has a rain shield for rain or heavy dew and set up is fairly easy by yourself and very easy with 2 people. It also has several storage flaps on the inside and a light clip straight up top over center. I give it a 5 star review at the $30 to $40 price point during Prime events or black Friday sales.

Got this to go camping, but haven’t been able to camp yet. We set it up in the living room to see how easy it is to set up. It was pretty easy! It’s sturdy, light weight, and our cat loved it. We kept it up in the living room for her for about a week. 😂

So spacious and comfortable, so enjoyed camping with my boys in it. We had a queen and twin air mattress and still had a lot of space between us. Could fit 2 queens if you wanted! The price was so worth it. Easy set up once we figured it out lol.

This tent was a perfect last minute grab for our 4th of July Camping Trip! Bonus points because we got to test it in a variety of conditions and I feel pretty confident that this is an awesome tent! Size/weight of packed up tent is actually perfect and very easy to fit into even the most tightly packed car. Setting it up is definitely a two person job, you could probably do it with one, buuuutttt it’d be a hassle. Once setup, it was the perfect size for our family of 5 plus two large dogs, and easily fit two adult air mattresses with room for bags and places for pups to sleep. The amount of ventilation was amazing, while also ensuring that we didn’t get soaked or have any leaks when it rained on us. We even tested this with pretty decent wind and it held up great! Literally the only thing I’d change is the stakes but that’s pretty normal since most tents come with pretty basic stakes and the ground is tough here in Colorado.

Overall good tent. Easy to assemble with one person and novice instructions. Kept dew out and very sturdy. Cons would be it does not fit 2 people (mother and child) comfortably. Also bc it is low to the ground you’re unable to try to stand or change inside. Just extremely small. Great for 1 person.

Excellent tent. Easy to set up on my own. Very spacious inside. Guy lines could be better.. maybe more high visibility. Tent pegs adequate but had to buy spares. Coped very well during high levels of wind and rain in scotland recently. It was certainly well tested. Water was completely kept out. Great ventilation byn3 windows and the upper netting covered by the rain fly. Durable zips. Though did keep catching the rain protector flap. Ventilation kept out the 'tent' smell you often get. Easy to disassemble. Not the easiest to get back into the carry bag could do with it being a little larger as the zip broke when putting it away. Fairly light given the size of the the tent. Good value for money and meant I had a very enjoyable 5 day camling experience in challenging weather conditions

Very large tent. I thought the height would be better though. I purchased this as a leisure tent for cleared site provincial park camping. I was trying to get one that you could stand up straight in for most of the area (for changing in/out of bathing suits comfortably, etc), but I'm 5'7/5'8 and could only stand up straight right in the middle and even then there is the storage pouch there in the way. Aside from that, it's a big spacious tent. Was a standard set up with two people. It rained on our trip but we had no leaks (Moosehorn, MB in July right on the beach). We use a tarp under our tents no matter what, but the ground didn't get soaked enough to tell if it would have made a difference or not. I will update the review as needed, because we only got to use it the once this passed season. We are from NWO and expect a good tent to last for years and have no issues with rain. So fingers crossed.

2023年6月、4人用の方を5900円程度で購入 購入以降、約２年で10泊以上張っているが目立った問題は無い。 「4人用」とあるが少し長方形で、山用テントで言うと５人用クラスのサイズ感。 ただし、中で大人が立てない高さなので、丘キャンパーだと人数関係なく「小さい」と感じそう。 細かい点では気になることがいくつかあるので、その辺りが許せる方にはオススメのテントです。 【まずは良い点】 安い・収納時かなりコンパクト・軽い・ベーシックなドームテントで立てやすい・ 天井にメッシュ収納＆２辺にポケット・案外キャンプ場で被らない（みんな高級なものが好き？） 肝心な防水性も悪くない →我が家ではこのテントで出かけると、なぜかほぼ100％雨に降られていて（雨男・雨女的な雨テント）、 かなりの土砂降りも数回経験しているが浸水等なし。 【気になる点】 ・シート生地がブルーシート的な生地 →収納時にゴワゴワするし設営＆収納時や設置時も風でガサガサうるさい ・出入口のファスナーが片側 →色々と不便、両端ファスナーが良かった ・ガイラインの位置がおかしい →外に引きたいのは頂点ではなく辺の真ん中（特に降雨時は手持ちのロープでここを外に引く） ・前室の軒が短い →もう少し外に出ていれば、降雨時の出入りが楽＆靴など置いておける（対策はタープ設置で軒を作る） 気になる点をいくつか書きましたが、致命的な欠点はなく「アップデートされたらいいな」程度の内容です。 5900円（現状8000円クラス？）と安いが、決して安モノではなく必要十分なテントです。

Creo que es un producto excelente. No tengo demasiada experiencia como campista pero la tienda la monté para aprobarla en el jardín de casa y aguantó una buena tormenta de lluvia y al día siguiente de viento. Sencilla fácil de montar tiene varias elásticas ese tipo iglú, adecuada para el verano, no creo que en el invierno sea útil, bastante impermeable, quiero decir impermeable, no entra agua y cómoda en las aperturas que son de cremallera. Tiene dos mosquiteras, lo cual es muy adecuado sobre todo en zonas donde haya mucho mosquito.

Wir sind mit dem Amazon Basics Kuppelzelt (Größe M) bisher sehr zufrieden. Das Zelt sieht optisch sehr gut aus, ist modern und sauber verarbeitet, und bietet überraschend viel Platz – ideal für 2 Personen mit Gepäck oder sogar 2 Erwachsene + Kind. Der Aufbau ist unkompliziert und in wenigen Minuten erledigt, auch ohne große Camping-Erfahrung. Das Gestänge wirkt stabil, und das Zelt steht sicher. Zur Wasserfestigkeit können wir noch nichts sagen, da es bisher trocken geblieben ist – aber das Material macht einen soliden Eindruck, und alle Nähte wirken gut verarbeitet. ⸻ Fazit: Tolles Zelt für den Preis. Geräumig, sieht gut aus, einfach aufzubauen – bisher alles top! Klare Kaufempfehlung für Wochenend-Trips oder Festivals.
