This is a great product but, it’s adhesive properties are not great. I didn’t have major problems, though, and I will purchase this item again.

These worked really well to hide 5 cracks in stained glass I just bought. No one would ever know.

Gallery Glass had a great product in their Redi-Lead strips--I use them to create "stained glass" Christmas ornaments using clear glass balls. I began my ornaments this fall with Thin Redi-Lead strips I had left from last year, then moved to newly ordered strips. Immediately upon opening the package, you can feel the difference in thickness (the width of each strip is still 1/16")--the strips are now barely thicker than the wax paper they are stuck to...........this alone is sufficient to earn them a one star rating.................Then, after trying to use them, I found that a) they did not stick anywhere near as securely as the old strips, and (partly because of the poor adhesion) they were much more difficult to cut (I use a X-acto knife and cut the strip right on the glass ornament.If one were to compare what these cretins at Plaid have done, it could be likened NOT to candy companies reducing the sizes of candy bars, but instead, to Coke trying to change to New Coke...replacing an excellent product with a terrible one.If I could give negative stars, I would.

This is OK. A little delicate to use. Probably would not re-order. The bulk pack did make it a good value, however

I needed it to finish my project. It's easy to use and sticks well. But the piping is flat and not very dark. I only did straight lines, and it looks hard to do any curved designs since the piping is stiff and wide.

I was making a fake stained glass window and was having trouble getting the the lead line straight using silver paint. I saw this and thought I would give it a try. It worked great! You just line it up and press it down and you have a perfect lead line.
