I have Drop Through Longboard brand Atom that I bought from Amazon. I thought It's perfect for carving. Then I made a leap of faith getting this Waterborne adaptor after watching YouTube clips. And this thing is so amazing. Just get it. Don't ask why. I almost spend another $250 on Surf skate, this adapter saves me money. Pro -Easy Installation. -High quality front (surf adapter) -Screws and nuts provided. -Carving on longboard much more easy. -Sharp turn even much more. -On flat surface you don't have to push, it runs by itself when you move your ankle up and down. -It works like Ripstick with balance of 4 wheels that you don't have to touch the ground. -It feels more smoothly on uneven ground with small holes, small bumps, (analogy: feels like the luxury car suspension). Cons: -Plastic Rail (back) Adapter. Not the same as the one in their website as of 2020 Jan. it looks cheap. -Speed will slow down a bit due to the attachment raising your board from the ground. -It makes the board heavier so it will be harder to do kick flip trick etc. Overall, BIG POSITIVE. I sacrifice the "trick-ability" for comfort mobility. Must Have if you are more into carving zig zag moves etc. NOTE: If you have a skateboard, highly recommended to get the Rail adapter to increase turn ratio. But if you have a longboard, you don't have to get the rail adapter, since longboard truck is flexible enough for you to just twisting your hip to move the longboard without the need for your foot to step down on the ground to push and move forward.

I am so glad i bought this waterborne surf adapter. I was going to buy a whole surf skateboard, but thought I would try this since i have so many boards already. It is one of the coolest gadgets I have gotten for skating. I have been trying to improve my surfing on regular longboard skateboards, but they just don't have the same action as this waterborne adapter. This truly makes it feel like you are surfing, and it is really improving my surfing. I highly recommend this awesome adapter if you want to improve your surfing, or just have more fun surf skating around. This thing is AWESOME!!!!!

This simple adapter is super legit for surf inspired carving and cross-training on your skateboard. I was looking heavily into the surfksates and Carver style skateboard completes, but then discovered this on some message boards. I'm over 30yo, have skated and snowboarded since a teen, and have more recently gotten into surfing. This is a great cross training tool for improving your surfing. The next waves I caught in a sessions after using this for a week had immediate impact on my fluidity and transition between turns and getting down the line quicker. The best part is it'll work with your current skateboard/longboard and you don't need to buy a new pricey complete to satisfy your surf cross-training or carving skate style. I would recommend putting this on a 30"+ cruiser or longboard style skateboard, not your street popsicle deck you take to the park. Super fun add-on to your skateboard and gives it a soulful, pump-able carve that legitimately feels like you are surfing.

First off I want to say that I love this surf adapter but it isn't without it's inconveniences. First off it does a great job turning your regular board into a road carving beast feeling more like a ripstick than a skateboard however I did notice that when riding with speed you have to be much more careful than you would otherwise you might turn a little too hard and get catapulted off. With this on your board I would DEFINITELY recommend sticking to the flat areas or places with a slight angle. Taking your foot off the board to pump can be a bit sketchy because even the slightest lean of your front foot will make the board swivel aggressively to one side. So kicking up hill requires quite a bit more balance than you would normally need. I have concrete basketball court in my backyard and it is definitely the perfect area to ride something like this. After pushing off you don't need to kick at all you just pump those corners and it feels like you are riding in a bowl. One last thing though is if you plan on hitting tight turns you really need the rail adapter because the back wheel will constantly come off the ground without it and it feels like it isn't reaching the full potential so I would really recommend you give up the extra cash because you won't regret it.

So much fun! Great for practicing surf turns. Especially helpful for practicing keeping ur speed thru the turns. Every little driveway ramp is now a little concrete wave! Had this thing for about a month now, still getting used to it, but 1) going fast is pretty scary. I reckon you get the most out of it at medium, or even slow speed. 2) the adopter looks and feels sturdy. I reckon it'll last. It is also quite heavy, and having that weight at the end of the board means u have to adjust a bit, especially the kick turns etc. I mounted it on a Globe cruiser (33 inch long, see pic). That thing was pretty loose to begin with but you cannot compare the maneuverability to that of the adopter. It is a whole other thing. Can't wait to try it on a skate park. One thing is that the cruiser came with angled spacers so I could not use the ones supplied with the kit. The result is that the front of the board is now a bit higher than the back, but I don't reckon that makes too much of a difference. I find that this setup is a bit too long for me (I'm 167cm, 63kg, mind u). I think it'd be perfect with an old school 30inch deck with a bit of width to it. All n all I'm super happy with it. Helps keeps this land bound surfer sane!

Monté sur une Longboard maison, oukoumé, carbone, kevlar, époxy, avec trucs 195 , roues Flyweel 90, roulements céramique, brushings 90a à l’avant et 80a à l’arrière, c’est une pure merveille en Wing-skate. Les calmes arrières en bambou fournies sont top, super finition pour ce kit. Rien à voir avec mon ancien système avant qu’il fait sans cesse resserrer pour éviter les mauvaises surprises !!! Je conseille sans retenue !!!

Took 20 minutes to convert longboard into surfboard! Great quality, easy installation and excellent conversion results.

I love it honestly. I only purchased the front track. However I need to pump a lot to keep speed. Is it because of the length of the board ( quite a small one) or because I don't have the rear rail. But 5 stars for sure.

Der Adapter hat nicht direkt gepasst, wir mussten ein paar Millimeter wegschleifen, das ging aber schnell und jetzt passt es. Hinten wurden 2 Blöcke, die mitgelieferten wurden, angeschraubt um die Höhe auszugleichen. Es macht soooo viel Spaß damit zu fahren! Enge kurven auch mit dem Longboard kein Problem. Perfekt
