Purchased this to go with a green and black tetsubin with a black tea warmer. The cup has some areas around the edge where the black enamel from the interior bleeds over onto the green and gold paint on the exterior. Also the paint around the outer rim is uneven and looks sloppy. I purchased another set from a different seller and I received four cups and saucers for only $4 more that the price of this one set. It does keep the tea warm and the 4 ounce size prevents the experience of tea cooling off too much in the cup. It's nice, but I would not purchase again.

I love that this matches the teapot I was given as a gift because it is so nice to have a set. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I was unaware that cups made of cast iron would be too hot to hold in my hand. So in essence, there is nothing wrong with this product, it just doesn't suit my needs perfectly. Perhaps I should have known that the heat would be conducted through the material in this way, but I did not anticipate that issue. It is still a very attractive set, I just need a heat-resistant glove to enjoy a cup of hot tea. I was happy with the seller and the product delivery.
