The Expert Shield screen protector is easy to apply. Just make sure you line up the first edge EXACTLY. Don't depend on another try - get it right the first time! Just as they promised, there are NO BUBBLES with this one. It looks GREAT and sticks all the way around every edge. But I repeat, get it lined up the first time so you don't have to reapply it. Also, as they recommend, work in a clean, dust free environment as you apply it. That's what I did and it came out perfect. For this price, get two so just in case it gets damaged, you have another one right there to replace it with. Yea, I know it's guaranteed and I expect they will send you a replacement for free, but come on, be fair. It you damage it, you should pay to replace it. So just get that back-up ahead of time and have it ready. You'll thank me later!

This is your typical screen protector: identical (it seems) to the ones you've probably put on your phone, etc. It applied nicely and seems to protect well. There is absolutely nothing that makes ExpertShield seem better than any of the other plastic screen protectors I've used, but then again--how fancy can it get?

UPDATE - Two screen protectors received from Expert Shield for my Sony DSC-HX80 do not fit. The first was received upon initial order. The second was sent by the Expert Shield customer service team after my 1-star review. Both screen protectors were the same size. See the attached photo of the first screen protector applied to my camera. The oversizing is most apparent on the left side, but can also be seen on the right side – it’s too wide.I purchased from this company a couple years ago for my RX100 (mark 1) and it was too small, but still fit the bill. Unfortunately with screen protectors bigger isn't better – it looks stupid and the overlapping edges get snagged on everything.Not sure if the handful of HX80 screen protector 5-star reviewers are fake, blind or lucky, but it's two strikes for me here.

I got this for my Sony camera. Disappointed to see that the Sony product for screen protection is much more protective, it's glass, not plastic. So what is it guaranteed for anyway? If it fails to protect the screen on the camera, will they replace the camera?

Fantastic screen protector; my second one from Expert Shield (first one was for Fuji X100S). This one was actually purchased for the Hasselblad Stellar, and I must say, it fit FLAWLESSLY. Seriously, if I gave the camera to someone else, they would have no clue that there is a screen protector on screen; the fit was THAT good! Some people complain about air bubbles or that their screen protector didn't fit right, but I think those are problems that come from installation, not the screen protector itself. Granted the screen protector you receive is the correct one for your camera model, you should be able to install it flawlessly as I did. The only thing I might have done differently was to purposely take a hot shower in order to steam up the bathroom and force any dust/debris in the air to settle, and THEN install the screen protector, and to do so very meticulously.Fit-wise, the screen protector is perfect; it covers the exact and complete area of the screen without any excess or uneven edges. Clarity-wise, the protector is perfectly clear and does not negatively affect the resolution of the screen in any way (at least for mine). Other than that, if you have any questions, just let me know.

The LCD screen has a coated antiglare screen from the factory but has little or no protection from scuffs or scratches. Therefor I would highly recommend this Expert Shield antiscratch screen. Easy to apply and far more durable than Sony's coated screen. Be careful when you apply that any tiny specks of dust are removed before the sticky side of this protective screen is applied. Hope this helps protect my camera screen from scratches. This camera is great but screen scratches very easily (had to have it replaced).

The screen protector was easy to put on, following their simple directions I was able to have zero bubbles under the protector. I will definitely buy their protectors again. The protector feels like quality material and you can hardly notice that its on the screen.
