I love the music of this group and I feel so young again!
I listened to Gary Puckett & The Union Gap on vinyl until we switched to tapes and no longer had a record player. I am so enjoying listening to this group again.

Gary Puckett
Love this genre. He had such a powerful voice and I enjoy listening to him sing. Some songs on the CD I never heard before, but still enjoyed.

Brings back fond memories
My Dad played this album (LP) when I was a kid. I visited every other weekend (visitation privileges) at his apartment. He was next to the pool, and he would leave his glass sliding door open so we could swim and hear Gary Puckett and the Union Gap from the pool. Have always enjoyed his voice.

Gary Puckett & the Union, Greatest Hits
there are several "greatest hits" albums for Gary Pucket and the Union but i chose this CD due to this cd had most of their hits where as the their other greatest hits albums mixed in other songs just to fill in space. Gary Pucket and the Union was one the great 60's / early 70's bands who had a unique style and the front man Gary Pucket had a baritone voice that was untouchable. Puckett's voice mixed with the tightness of the band, and songs that matched their music style gave the Union the success they so desired. their first single, "Woman Woman", (a song written by Jim Glaser and Jimmy Payne)became their first hit, reaching No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified gold. This was followed during the next two years by "Young Girl" (#2), "Lady Willpower" (#2), "Over You" (#7), and "Don't Give In To Him" (#15).[3] All were produced by Fuller, who also wrote "Young Girl," "Lady Willpower," and "Over You". Although the band never had a #1 record in the United States, "Young Girl" reached No. 1 on the UK singles chart, and No. 6 when it was reissued in the UK six years later. By 1971 the band was finished. Puckett did some solo gigs and toured on the oldies circuit for awhile but the band (like most great 60's bands) faded away into glory. this is why i recommend this cd. when you start to listen to the first song and all through to the last song you will be taken back to where music was real. recorded with love and care and hard work unlike the "want to be" artists(?)of today that go into the studio, pretend their musicians, and fade away on the "one hit wonder" train. This CD is for all music lovers who ever once in a while want to take a trip back to the 60's just to enjoy the venture.Mad Cow Music ReviewCnelson

Great Collection of Pop Songs - lovely recordings. 9 out of 10.
Wow, what a collection of well engineered and produced selections from the Gap. Well worth owning. Outstanding musicality and soulful tenor voice of Gary Puckett and his an American Pop group made up with talent coming from Canada and eventually Australia. Cool.

Living the 60's over again!
Just love this, a lot of the song's I'd not heard before, but once the music kicked in I was transported back to the 60's This CD is just magical I play it over and over and I'm now familiar with words and sing away. Don't know what it is about Gary Puckett and the Union Gap but the lyrics just get to you, and bring back the reality from the 60's. CD will be worn out soon! A must buy for me.
