Can't go wrong with Stanley
After dealing with cheaper made tapes, I finally got this one. This is leaps and bounds above other tapes. It is easy to operate, easy to read and retracts well. The housing is very tough and well built. I've dropped it a few times with no adverse reactions. It is accurate and does the job.

Metric is better!
If you’re a complete moron like I am, then a metric tape measure is perfect. Since I live in the United States, we don’t seem to be on the same page as the rest of the world and still use arbitrary BS measurements that don’t make sense, so building something in increments of 10 is like a blessing from the heavens. This sucker is perfect. Need to measure something that’s 157.48 inches? 157 12/25? Nah, fam. That’s 4 metres. Make some sense out of building and get yourself this jewel.

Mini Tape Measure is Super Handy
This tape is really small and light weight and very handy to carry or just have around. It is mostly useless to a carpenter but would suffice for the average person ~95% of the time.
